I bought a new CW9 a couple months ago & purchased one extra factory mag @ $ 45.00 for carry. I bought several of the ProMags to take to the range for half the price. I have put about 160 rounds through each of them (20 loadings of 8). I can tell no difference & they all lock the slide back on the last round. So far so good! Always carry your Kahr w/ an OEM & carry an OEM spare as previously mentioned!

I own a Kahr CW9 and the magazines worked flawlessly, and at a fraction of the cost $17.49 vs $44.00. I was surprised the slide remained open after the last shot just like the factory version. In this case the promag was worth the price.

I bought five of these for USPSA competition with a Kahr Arms P9, and have been pleased with my purchase. The only difficulty I found initially was in getting the first round of a full magazine to feed if I pulled the slide back to release it from slide lock by hand. I know, I know you're not supposed to do that, but it's a large muscle motion & easier to be sure of in a pinch. Even initially, if I used the slide release it would feed. A couple of trips to the range & a competition have alleviated this problem all together. Because there is no steel insert where the follower engages the slide lock, I may eventually see some plastic on steel wear. However, I expect to have more than gotten my money's worth out of this product before they fail to function properly due to this type of wear.

It worked great in my Kahr CW9, nearly a third the price of one from Kahr.

I purchased 3 of these magazines to back-up the two factory magazines that came with my PM9. I initially had a problem with the follower binding in the tube, roughly half way down. There was also a problem with them not locking the slide back when empty. I disassembled the magazines and found that the width of the magazine tube was too narrow in the middle to let the follower pass without binding on its sides. I also found that the width at the top of the follower was too wide to let the follower rise quite enough in the taper near the top of the magazine to engage the slide stop lever. I took a punch that was slightly larger across its hex shaped sides than the inside width of the magazine and, starting from the bottom of the magazine, forced it up about 3/4 of the length of the magazine to spread the tube in the middle just enough that the follower wouldn't bind. I then took a knife and scraped the top outside corners of the follower just enough to slightly bevel the sharp outside edges. This allowed the follower rise high enough into the taper at the top of the magazine to engage the slide stop. It shouldn't have been necessary to fix what the factory didn't do. But, for the difference in the cost between these and the factory magazines, and the postage and hassle to send them back for a refund, I preferred to fix them myself since it didn't take that much effort to fix them. If I'd sent them back I'd have been without and I didn't have much hope that replacement magazines would be any better. I haven't used the magazines enough to tell how well they will hold up but they generally seem to be well made. However, quality control was lacking and wasn't what it could and should be.

I wrote before when I first received the magazine and mentioned several misfeeds. I found that the spring had been reversed and since I had fixed it I have had no problems. I would still only trust Kahr magazines for carry. As before the magazine does not hold open the slide.

These are good range magazines with no jams. I have a CW9 and they need to be pulled from the mag well. They will not drop out. They are half the cost of a Kahr mag. I use these at the range and carry two Kahr mags.

Price is right, I picked up 3 for range/carry use...unfortunately, while they are acceptable for range firing, none of them keep the slide open once they empty. I'll order an OEM for a carry spare.

Ok - 3 months and several hundred rounds later. One of the mags is completely worthless (mis-feeds & jams). It was tossed in the trash can. One works ok but won't hold the slide open. The last one works perfectly. I guess I should have passed and just bought a couple more factory mags?

Hate to be a party breaker, but I thought this would be a deal and mine jams with the rounds sometimes up, sometimes down, half way in the chamber. It's definitely the mag. I swapped back to factory mag and no jambs. I'll let Midway know and maybe they can send me out another one to try. This one is junk and I wouldn't put it back out there on eBay for the next victim.

Magazine is too big. It's only a slight amount, but you can see it if you sit it beside a factory mag. The magazine will only insert halfway. To fully insert it takes alot of force, and the sound of scraping metal. It also will not eject without pulling on the bottom of the magazine. Totally useless product.

I just received my ProMag 8 round mag for my Kahr K-9. It's a no go. The mag follower is a piece of junk. Then I inserted the mag and it got stuck in the weapon. I spent about 20 minutes working that mag back out of the pistol without using tools. I carry the K-9 as a retired police officer. Should have bought a Kahr mag for twice the price. At least I would be able to trust it to fit and function in my firearm. I'm out $22.50 and 20 minutes. Hopefully, I can recover the $22.50.
