I found this polish to work very well. It gives the brass a shine, bright or brighter, equal to the time you tumble. It cuts the time you tumble as opposed to not using it. Mixes better with the media than others I have tried. A very good product.

After reading the reviews and hearing that some guys had a bit of problem with it, I didn't want to purchase it. A fellow that I know also told me about it and he showed me his brass after polishing. So i decided to buy a small bottle just to try it. i used it on Walnut which makes a nasty powdering mess after using it, and your cases come out full of dust. Well originally i put a teaspoon but i read in the description that your supposed to put 3 teaspoons when it's your first time treating the media. SO i did, i left my tumbler open since that's what the instructions indicate and i only put the media in there. (no brass, read the instructions on the bottle friends) i saw that it worked like some type of bond that picked up the dust and resharpened the edges on the media. best of all the dust dissapear. i waited 5 minutes and then i added about 500 shells of .38 spl. and in about an hour i shut it off and i opened the tumbler. boy were they shiny. usually i tumble for 4 hours and i dont get that same result. i'll be buying the bigger bottle now.

This stuff really works! I compared two batches of cleaned brass. The first batch was in plain walnut media tumbled for 8 hours. The second was tumbled in walnut media with the brass case polish for 5 hours. The difference is *striking*. The cases cleaned with the polish-laden media are brighter and look much closer to new. The brass included both old and newer, nickel-plated and regular brass. Every kind of brass was noticably cleaner and shinier than the brass cleaned in the untreated media. A great deal.

This is the best way to get a better than new shine on cases! It also greatly reduces the tumbling time. I used my first 8 ounce bottle with corn cob media for about two and a half years, untill the media just got to dirty to use anymore. Im on my second bottle now and would recommened this product to anyone.

I'm on my second bottle. Best I've used. I tumble clean with dry walnut, then decap, size and trim, followed by corn cob media with polish. Comes out looking better than new. To top it off, it has that fresh citrus smell, (small joke). It also does a great job on my gold rings.

This product reduces markedly the time to clean old brass. Time to clean old, aged but not corroded, GI '06 brass was about 6 hours versus 24 hours minimum, without the polish added to the media. The old brass came out looking like new. This performance required 2-3 times the suggested amount, however.

I purchased some Walnut Shell Media at a gun show. You know...the red stuff. I had never tried it before, always using corn cob media. Brought it home, put it in my Frankford Arsenal Tumbler. Man! What a dusty mess! Red dust all over..Everywhere! I was just sick. I swore I would never use Walnut Shell Media again...Until I a MidwayUSA sales rep. convinced me to give it a try. I bought the 8 oz. bottle, added very little to the red dusty media and to my astonishment, it cleaned up the dust and boy does it clean the brass. No more red dust the prettiest brass you ever saw. I'm ordering a 32 ounce bottle. Very pleasant smell, as well. Can't go wrong on this product. The "CAT'S MEOW" Order the 32 ounce bottle. You won't regret it!

This worked exceptionally well. I used it on once fired brass and within 1 hour the brass was cleaner than new unfired brass. I used a little more polish than suggested with walnut shell media but it did a great job. Initially it clumped but clumps were easily broken with a spoon. Follow bottle directions and you should have no problem. Wish I had found this product earlier.

This cuts the time required to clean brass in half, and produces casings that look like new. Add it to the media before you add the cases and allow it to swirl around for a few minutes then dump the cases in and you are off to the races. In a few hours you will have cases that look like new. It is particularly good with walnut hulls.

This product seems to work very well so far. My main complaint about it is that it has a solvent type of smell to it and it leaves the tumbler bowl smelling that way even after washing it and this is in addition the fragrant odor that they add to it. I had been using the Flitz product prior to this which leaves no odor or residue, but wanted to try the less expensive Frankford Arsenal product to compare them. If the price was the same on both I would probably opt for the Flitz although I will say that the Frankford stuff seems to do a little better polishing job on the brass than the Flitz does. As far as amount needed to do the job? Well they come in at about the same in my opinion. Since I gave this product a 5 star rating, I'd have to say that it's well worth the price given the results you get.

Polishes your brass dramatically better than media alone, and reduces the time you have to keep it in the tumbler. For best results, however, you have to use more than is suggested. You should also add it to the media before adding the brass and let it mix in, otherwise it will clump up. Also, make sure to shake it before using since it tends to separate into an oily layer and a creamy layer when allowed to sit for too long.

Does a fairly good job of cleaning, but takes more applied to media than recommended. Walnut shell media has more of a tendency to pack tightly in case and primer pocket. Does not seem to completely remove ALL powder fouling from around case necks in extreme cases.

I have to agree with the consensus above, and I'm a bit dissapointed. You need to use about 3x the recommended amount, which triples the cost per use. It has a tough time on really dirty brass, and I considered a direct contact brass polish applied by hand before tossing cases into the tumbler filled with corn cob. I did like the clean smell, completely unoffensive. I find Frankford products generally of very high quality, and because this is the only polish I tried, I might be a little unfair.

Pleasant odor. It is all downhill from there. Leaves a very hard crusty residue in the bowl of any and all of the tumblers I tried it in. Very waxy. When first added to the media, it makes a clump like cat stuff in the kitty litter. I ended up throwing almost all of it out.

Followed the instructions, and even cut the recommended amount to use by a third, and still got gummy, sticky brass. Used it with three different types of corncob media--Lyman, RCBS and ground corncob I got at a pet store. Ended up throwing all three batches of media away. If polish is left standing for even a day, you can see where the polish and oil completely separate. So when they say "Shake well", they're not kidding. The last straw for me was when I tumbled some .308 and .270 brass in Lyman corncob media, and the media got all stuck together inside the cases. In over 20+ years of reloading, I've never had THAT happen. In the trash it went.
