Excellent bullet for long range target shooting. With a high B.C.. of .508 and a muzzle velocity over 3000 fps, in a 26 in. barrel, makes a .308 win shoot more like a .300 magnun. Stays super sonic to 1400 yds. This is my 500 yd to 1400yd bullet in the .308 win. Yes, I have used this bullet at 1400yds and its accurate to that distance! Every .308 win. target shooter should try a box or two in their rifle, there is an amazing difference in drop and wind deflection!

The Lapua 155gr Scenar loaded with Re-15 to 2,920fps in my rifle that has a 25" Rock Creek barrel has fired a 3 shot group at 300 yards of 0.825". I like the way this bullet performs. The last 1K match that I used 155 Scenar in I scored 195 10X. My elevation was only 28 MOA over my 100 yard zero.

0.43" 3 shot group centered in the bullseye with a 15 mph gusting cross wind at 200 yds, from a 26" Douglas XX air gaged barrel, 1-12 twist. COAL of 2.795 = Gap to the rifling of .090". This bullet seems to like jumping to the rifling as I can shoot this setup all day long with incredible results. BTW: They are great in a X wind as well. 300 yds = under 0.75" groupings with the same setup.
