Extremely handy and a great idea. With practice they are almost as fast as speedloaders, and they are considerably cheaper and easier to conceal. I would choose these over a speedloader for concealed carry or keeping ready rounds at home. (I would probably stick with a speedloader for competition or open carry law enforcement use.) These are difficult to load when brand new but break-in noticeably after 5-6 uses. I have found them easiest to load by putting them down on a solid surface like a bench.

Though not as quick as speed loaders, this product is like lightning compared to loading single rounds from a pocket, or out of loops. This product also is the most concealable way to carry extra revolver ammo in a loader....they lay flat in the pocket and are comfortable.

Absolutely the best way to carry spare ammunition for a small revolver. Who actually carries a full speedloader when carrying a snubbie? These are easy to carry, very durable, and simple to use. When you add the price, it's something every revolver owner should own. Buy several, and don't worry if you lose one.

Great product.. I use these when I carry my 642. I have never had a problem with these. Rounds stay in without falling into pocket!

Perfect for the casual pocket reload or in the car. It even works with .40S&W cartridges when you can't carry a full mag.

I have used speed strips for many years for personal shooting, and I carry one daily for a reload for my backup gun (I am a police officer), as well as my off-duty gun (1 speedloader, one speed strip). Great for concealed carry, esp. in a pocket. That's always a problem with speedloaders-- too bulky to carry on a pocket, and it's hard to find a concealment speedloader case unless you wear a shoulder rig. I have a couple of strips that have been loaded for years, and occasionally used, with no ill effects. I have a fair number of spares too.....

I used Speed Strips for years as a police officer. They are still handy for holding bullets for casual shooting. Not as fast as other speedloaders, but doing two cartridges at a time, you can get the job done fast enough. They fit very well in pockets if you are in a state that has concealed carry and do not want to be obvious, and they never jam or malfunction.

I have had mine for 10 years before one snapped in half. But they've mainly been loaded (and not flexed) for much of that time. It was just recently that one broke as I had to put the ammo in its original package for air travel. They're great for compact ammo storage in a fanny pack.
