The Foul Out 3 Bore Cleaning System is compact and quick to use. It is truly an improvement over other electrochemical bore cleaners because the caliber specific O-rings keep the cleaning rods from touching the inside of the barrel. The system includes Foul Out 3 control unit, electrode, assorted bore plugs and O-rings, 8 oz of Cop Out Plus and Lead Out Plus cleaning solutions, dispensing cap and AC adapter. 17 caliber O-rings are not available. For use with Foul Out 3 solvents only. Not for use with Foul Out 2 solvents.

I cast my own 158gr SWC plain base bullets out of wheel weights and linotype, then push them to .357 mag velocities. The leading in my 6" King Cobra is always severe, but the Foul Out does the job. After buying a Foul Out I have never reloaded or fired jacketed bullets again. GREAT PRODUCT!!

If you follow the instructions exactly, the product works great! I used it on my "clean" 44 mag, and was amazed by how much lead and copper it was able to pull out. I also used it on a badly leaded 1911 and it cleaned it up perfectly, the bore looked brand new when it was done. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, and it works great!

Have a wby mag. Had used all the chemicals and apparently wasn't getting clean. Was getting ready to rebarrel and thought I would try this product as a last resort. Rifle now back to 1" groups at 100yd. Was 4-5" groups. I am extremely happy with the results.

I use it to get the copper out of badly fouled rifle bores. YOU MUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OR YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR TIME. I just get the powder fouling out then degrease as instructed. This system works great and always gets the copper out but if it is badly fouled you might have to swab out the barrel degrease and start again. It is much easier than spending hours pushing patches and smelling ammonia.

Ruger Blackhawks seem to lead up quickly, at least with the bullets of mixed pedigree I cast. I shudder to think how much damage I did to my bores with tornado brushes, brass screens, etc.--no matter how mindful I was--just trying to get them reasonably clean. Until I got this beauty. As long as I follow the directions, the Foul-Out III removes virtually every bit of lead without damaging anything. Be prepared to keep an eye on it, and wipe off the rod every 15-30 minutes. However, I've found I can work this into other activities, so no time is wasted. This is an outstanding product, but it bears repeating: follow the instructions.

I had trouble with my SIG P220ST not grouping. I could barely get it on paper at 10 yards. The first time I ran the Foul Out system through it the lead out step took 45 minutes and I had to wipe off the rod 3 times before the clean light came on. This brought the gun back to life. This is a must have for those who shoot lead.

I used Foul Out on a heavily copper-fouled Sig 226 barrel. I found it easy to use. After a few hours the clean light came on and the barrel was spotless. I would highly recommend this product.

This is an excellent product. I have used it extensively to delead and decopper my rifle and pistol barrels. It make a tough, time consuming process very easy. It will pay for itself by doing away with all those expensive wonder chemicals recommended for cleaning barrels.

I used this system for the first time and was leary but I have a Taurus model 66 ss 357 6" barrel and model 605 2" barrel and had lead in the barrels from shooting wad cutters that I cast (cast was a little soft) and loaded which leaded the barrels. in about an hour. 2 30min sessions each both where like new. I am very happy with this product.

I just started casting my own bullets and my first firing of them left my barrel coated with lead. I scrubbed with brushes and soaked in Kroil. Even so, it looked like a LONG cleaning process. Then I remembered my Foul Out that I'd bought a year earlier, but never needed. Man did it make short work of the clean up! 5 or 6 cycles later, the barrel is lead free. My only nit is that you can't just leave the unit working. There is periodic wiping down of the rod. If you have lead problems, BUY THIS!

Can't say enough. It works. In 10 minutes, the barrel of my Springfield XD9 went from smeared lead coated, hard to clean to shiny. The cathode was coated in this gray foamy lead stuff. Amazing.

This product is awesome!!! I run lead swc in my 45acp and tried it on my new Kimber. The barrel looked clean before I started & was shocked!! to see how much lead it pulled out -WOW!! Doesn't take long but you may need to wipe rod clean and run several patches through to keep the fouling from interfering and the degreasing is crucial. Worth every penny!!

I think this is the best cleaning product you can find. The stuff this pulls out of you barrel will amaze you. Had a .243 that went from sub MOA to 2" groups. I tried everything to clean it before using this product with little change, but after using the Foul Out (and a couple of days using it), the rifle is better than new. Now I clean every firearm I own once a year and keep them shooting great. You are NOT getting your guns clean with chemicals. Try this, you'll be amazed. Once you get your guns clean, it only takes about 15-30 min to keep them clean.

What took me so long to get one of these?! I always thought electrochemical systems were really more for heavy duty benchrest shooters, and as such were a complex overkill for ordinary shooters. I'm happy to say I was wrong about that -- any shooter will benefit from the Foul Out system almost immediately. I have a SIG P220 that had the most stubborn fouling along the lands, and I could never completely remove it to my satisfaction. I bought the Foul Out as sort of a last option prior to resorting to a bore paste or some other potentially damaging treatment. The first treatment cycle with the Foul Out lasted several hours and pulled out a ton of copper. The bore looked better than it ever had since I bought the pistol. After a good conventional follow-up cleaning to remove what the Foul Out leaves behind (typically zinc, antimony, and any powder fouling that had been crammed under the now-removed copper/lead) my barrel looks perfect, with sharp and clear lands & grooves. I have since used it on other guns and was surprised to see just how much it pulled out of bores that were seemingly clean. You will be amazed too! So in summary: Pros = gets out every bit of copper or lead, no tedious brushing with harsh solvents, can potentially breathe new life into an old gun Cons = expensive compared to conventional cleaning equipment, can take several hours to work, you must check on it every hour or so to make sure the solution has not changed color

It does what it says. Be prepared to see copper, especially on the older, more used barrels. I have a Ruger M77, 220 Swift, made in the '70's I bought used with unknown amount of usage. Took many cleaning cycles (wet patch, brush, patch, foul out, etc.) to get the copper out. Just pay attention to detail when in use and have a good supply of patches on hand.

In summary, it works great. I have rifles of unknown origin that couldn't hold sub-6" groups at 100 yards. After using the Foul-Out system, they now hold sub-2" groups. You'll be amazed at the amount of fouling it will remove. Just be careful and follow the directions, repeated cycles may be necessary. One of my rifles took 25 cleaning cycles over a three week period; but, the time involved saved me the expense of re-barreling.

Restoring WWI/WWII rifles (Mosin-Nagants/Mausers). Even after extensive brushings, patchings & inspections - Foul Out 3 continues to remove Copper/Brass(?), Lead and Rust. Amazing... Disadvantage - you can't just let it run for hours on end, you need to check the process every 30 min - 1 hour...Definitely follow the instructions in the manual.
