Solid construction with an adjustable length of pull and cheekpiece height make this stock an excellent option for varmint and long-range target rifles. The 28 oz weight adds heft and balance to heavy-barreled rifles. Requires standard-length A2 buffer and spring (not included). Includes mounting hardware and 2 ambidextrous sling loops.

Note:The AR-10 PRS can be used on an AR-15 for additional clearance between the charging handle and the cheek rest.

Great stock. Easy to mount and adjust. Weight counterbalances a heavy barreled rifle very well. Worth the money.

If you are building a long range AR-15 you need this buttstock. The adjustments are sturdy and easy to manipulate. The finish is no different than any other buttstock. I had no problems with installation, was straight forward. Can't go wrong with MagPul.

This stock is the finest money can buy period. NO FLAWS whatsoever with the way it is made. This "STOCK" is for the AR 15 ONLY... Some people cannot read application of this stock. TAKE NOTE: "AR10 and Panther LR 308" use a different stock due to longer charge handle. MagPul Industries makes a specific stock for AR 10 and Panther LR 308 which is longer. Charge handle will not hit the stock. Use the right stock for intended application and quit crying on manufacturers for your inability to read for what applications “you bought”!!!

I put this on my Bushmaster Predator which comes with scope risers. The adjustable cheek rest help line up and keep a consistent line of sight. The removal of the A2 stock was easy, but the MagPul exchange took a little time. I slipped the majority of the MagPul on the original buffer tube, but the last couple of inches was tight. I used the Bushmaster flathead screw (because it was longer than the MagPul hex screw) as a pulley assist. Once on, I secured the MagPul to the buffer tube with the hex cap screw that came with the stock.

Very well made. Just be aware that if you are getting this stock for a Savage BAS rifle that the length of pull will be over 15 3/8". The cheek piece, and the adjustable butt pad are about useless (at least for me anyway, who is of average build). For proper eye relief (from a nikon 6-18), I can only use about 1/4 of the cheek pad (if that). If you want adjustment, stay with a collapsible stock (for the BAS rifle). For what it is meant for (AR-15), it is a great stock. In my opinion, None better! I just wish it had worked out on the BAS(Because it looks awesome and is so well made). I would not hesitate to put this on any AR type rifle. I give it 5 stars because if I had bought it for an AR-15, I would probably give it ten stars if possible (it's that nice).

Very well made, easy to install. I would recommend high or extra high rings if mounting a scope as I installed a quality Leupold Var-III scope with rings of standard ring height and have some trouble getting proper eye alignment with the cheek piece adjusted all the way down. Higher rings will give you more versatility in cheek rest and proper sight alignment as you can adjust the cheek piece to the height you need.

A must for heavy barreled target guns, easy adjustment & good weight to back end. Has about 1” less to 1” more length of trigger pull compare to stock A2 butt.
