Well built tool and will hold up to any AR-15 application. The finish hasn't been a problem one bit. Comes in very handy and is an good buy for any AR-15 owner.

This is one sturdy tool, solid will not bend, heavy duty all I can say about the slippage issue is try a little paint remover on the tool when the paint goes away so does the slippage, just keep a light coat of oil on the areas where you stripped the paint.

This tool worked great for my AR build. The only reason I did not give it five stars was the notch for the Lower Receiver Extension was a little large and caught just the corners of the extension. Otherwise, this is a great buy for the price.

It does the job, I am sure there is better out there but it works just fine for me. Nice silver vein finish.

This tool is made from good material (I doubt you will bend it). I can't rate it any higher than three stars because the fit could be better. For general maintenance it's OK but if I was working on a new rifle that I didn't want to take a chance at scratching I would look for something better. This tool will work but you have to be careful and take your time so it doesn't slip and scratch the rifles finish. Overall I rate it OK.

The tool worked fine after getting all the coating off the mating surfaces. I'd recommend the mfg. not coat the tool but spray it with CLR or a light oil, put it a zip lock bag and ship it. The coating creates an out of tolerance condition that does not allow the tool to fit properly.

I had to modify the tool by doing some grinding to the spanner pegs that are supposed to fit in the slots for the buttstock extension nut. There is too much powder coating on the whole tool therefore making it difficult to make it fit. The only reason I didn't give it one star was that it will not bend which is good.

Slippery finish allows tool to jump out of notches on both barrel nuts and tube nuts causing damage. A bad tool to have around. There are much better tools for barrel and extension tube work.

I agree with previous comments. This tool slips off of the barrel nuts and causes damage. I cannot recommend it. The price was good but not at the expense of rifle damage.

I had the same problem as the previous 2 reviewers had. It's very hard to get the proper torque and gas tube alignment with this tool. I marred one barrel nut badly trying to get it off and busted my knuckles trying to install another.

This tool all around is the worst thing I have ever used on my AR15. My money would have been better spent by burning it rather than buying this. DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO DAMAGE YOUR RIFLE.

The finish on this tool is slippery and soft making it difficult to adequately tighten barrel nuts and castle nuts on buffer tubes for collapsible stocks. I have damaged several very expensive rifles using this multi-tool and I would strongly discourage people from purchasing this product. On the other hand Midway offers some great alternatives.
