These reusable components are the perfect way for a shooter to get some inexpensive practice when they don?t have time to go to the range. Reusable molded plastic training components are a great tool for short-range practice up to 25 feet. Bullets and cases are sold separately and can be reused several times. Simply load the plastic case with a large pistol primer, seat the plastic bullet inside the case and fire at safe backstop. This is not loaded ammunition and the primers are not included. Recommended for use with pistols only.

CAUTION: Do not use any propellant powder when assembling these cartridges. Cases are powered by the primer only.

I give them a 5 star because of the fun factor, and because they are great for introducing new shooters to the sport. I don't use them myself but I buy and load them for my kids and their kids. They have great fun, learn shooting safety and skills with less chance of injury. I don't know about loading them into cases and crimping them because they aren't made for that. They are made for use in the matching PLASTIC cases which need no crimping. They are accurate enough for the recommended 25 feet. My family hits what they are aiming for. As far as being loose they are probably made that way. If they were full diameter you would probably have little chunks of plastic stuck in the barrel. Plus they would wear out prematurely. In my book they are great for their intended purpose. That is why I am going to order more...right now.

These are great for training new shooters in shooting. They work great in my S&W 686, S&W 642 and GP-100 We shoot targets out to 7 yards with them. After initial investment, all you have to pay for is primers.

Okay, they ARE undersized. In fact I don't know how I can crimp them into a .38 special case. But in 9mm they are just too much fun! Just cram them down a primed 9mm case and shoot away. I haven't had this much fun size my first BB gun. Well, that might be an exageration, but they are extremely fun. They get 5 stars for fun factor alone, let alone being able to do drills without worrying about back stops or blowing your toes off. The fact that they don't cycle the action also has it's advantages in drills. I'll be getting more for sure!

Great for target practice in a basement when used right. easy to control easy to load all thats needed is a way to decap the plastic cartridge and a way to prime them. If you dont have the time to go to the range just shoot em in the basement or outside at a cardboard box with an old thick jacket and a piece of OSB on the back and youll get the bullets back. Really can go through OSB if you dont have padding to soften the impact.

Not sure what problem Pete had. Anyway as stated they are a little loose, and as stated after a few times they become more snug, of course their loose it's plastic powered by a primer, who wants to remove plastic embedded in their barrel?? anyway. Lots of fun, especially on rainy days, kids love em, I love em. and even my wife is beginning to love them. So Pete turn that frown upside-down.

Great product. For years I used wax but never liked the mess wax bullets made. These work great. Seemed undersized at first, but one or two loadings and they snug to the lands and work fine. Much easier cleanup when compared to wax. Much easier to load as well.

Agree with previous reviewer that they were a little small. I tried them in 2 X 9mm pistols, and a .380 pistol. In one 9mm pistol, and in the .380, they were loose, and key holed. In the other 9mm pistol, they engaged rifling properly and shot 1-2" groups at 20 feet. Even with the key holing, though, they were so fun that I reloaded them 3X the first night I tried them. Couldn't stop using them. I ran drills in the garage for hours. All shots stayed "on paper", even with key holing. Good enough for exercises. My son pronounced them "sweet."

They work OK but are louder than I expected with the large primers. They are sized to be used like a heeled bullets in the special plastic cases. Other than that, they seem to be fine. Too loud for what I wanted them for though.

These plastic bullets are under sized, as others have mentioned, and they drop through the barrel. I contacted Speer and they said that it is the right size, but as others have mentioned, the bullets are not accurate at all. They are .014 smaller then a .357 bullet, but the 45 plastic bullets are .007 under a .451 bullet and the 45 plastic shoot fine. I will not buy these again.

They are not as advertised. They are not even close to .355. I bought 3 boxes and they mike out around .345. Very innacurate and keyhole nearly every time. I have used this product in the 70's and they were good. In my Ruger Blackhowk 357 they drop clean through the barrel. I cannot recommend this product and it seems like a lot of trouble to return them.
