    This is just what you need for a large/small pin crisis. I have a Colt Sporter. I can put all uppers on the Colt now: DPMS, Bushmaster etc.It's a long story why they made Colt go to a different pin size, but if you have one this will solve the problem.

    This special offset screw is a must have if you are putting an upper with a .250 hole in the pivot onto a lower with a .312 hole at the pivot point. It is much better to have the screw on hand when that new upper arrives than having to wait a week to put your new toy together because you don't have the special screw. Heed the voice of experience; it is a very long week.

    Do your homework on what fits. I have a Colt A3 Tactical Carbine and this item did not work. I'm sure it's a good item if it fits.

    It went on well, however mine won't come off...my upper is now stuck on my lower.
