The tool cut my time deburring and cleaning primer pockets by more than 50%. I have only used it twice and find the cutting edges excellent. I would suggest that some sort of cradle be added to the package. I found the tool easier to use by laying it on the bench and manipulating the cases. However, being round, it has a tendency to slide.

This tool is really great. It does an amazing job of chamfering. You can even tell when you brass is brittle by the way it bites into it. I ran through 400 pieces of brass in very little time.

I really like the Lyman Power deburring tool, it sure speeds up the process of reloading brass and saves my wrist along with it, plus if I need to I can also use it as a hand drill for smaller jobs. Thank you lyman for a very useful product.

Cheapo made in China construction, but it works great, 4 stars, for cleaning primer pockets. If RCBS would get their act together and make some decent primer pocket cleaning tools for their Trim Mate case prep center that would be far better. Although pricey for what it is, this one works good and you'd be surprised how much residue it easily removes.

The unit itself is just a waste of time and money. It is slow and doesn't charge well. The bits that come with it are good to have. I just use them with my cordless drill now. The drill has more control and the battery charges way faster.

I'd rank this right there with a useless paperweight. I will speed up the process and it does work....sometimes. Leave it for a few weeks and then attempt to use it and find the battery dead. It takes DAYS for it to charge up. A much better design would have the unit running off of the charger alone, something Lyman chose not to build into this expensive junk. Unless you intend to KEEP it on the charger and waste loads of electricity, find something other than this unit.
