I added the shoulder stock and a decent scope that are available for this pistol. I use it on the sparrows that attempt to muscle out the Blue birds form nesting. I can consistently hit dimes at 25 yards and it is quiet. I have several other pellet guns to choose from but I go to this one first.

By far the best pistol for the money. I have bought the shoulder stock, and equipped the pistol with a scope as well. I use it to cull sparrows from nesting in blue bird boxes. Accurate with all manner of pellet weights. It's go to equipment for pests and just plain fun.

This little pistol is great. With 8 pumps, I can penetrate both sides of a tin can and set the pellets deep into a wooden backing 3 ft father back at 25 yards. Any accuracy issues can be easily cured by accessories. Its the only Pellet gun I have that I shoot anymore! Its that good...

The most accurate out of the box air pistol for the price... powerfull enough to hunt small critters... great foundation for a custom gun that many match shooters will envy...

It is a fun great little air gun and powerful. But alot of parts were loose when i got it out of the box aswell as the sights but once I tightened it and sighted it in I was very pleased. I found that daisy presicion max pellets are weak out of this gun for some reason and wouldn't shatter a pickle jar but I then switched to crossman pellets and it would go through soup cans, bottles and much more. gamo lead balls also proved to be a very powerful ammo out of this gun. Its winter here in colorado and I can't wait to kill one of those pesky field mice that sneak into the house this time of year. I have already shot a starling and can't wait to see how it will do on crows.

Great Pistol. I bought the 1377c to practice trigger control when I can't shoot my Ruger Single Six 22lr and have found I enjoy shooting the 1377c. Most of my shooting is done at 10m or 33 feet in my basement with 3 pumps and I can put 10 rounds in a postage stamp. The best thing about the 1377c is no CO2 and it's fairly easy to pump. Great Gun!

4.5 stars in stock form. The stock sights and furniture aren't that great. 5++ stars with some upgrades: - Crosman steel breech kit (steel breech has 3/8" dovetail for scope mounts and is much better quality than the stock plastic breech) - Any decent 4x scope - Crosman P/N 1399-510 Shoulder stock - Crosman P/N 1389-010. Black matches the shoulder stock and is more comfortable than the 1377 woodgrain plastic forend. (sourced from a "2289 backpacker", but fits a 1377 perfectly) Shoot safely and enjoy!

The 1377C is Crossman's latest offering of this .177 classic pumper. High points are low price, out-of-the-box accuracy, not too loud--good for indoor or backyard use, choice of power based on the times you pump it--3 to 5 great at 10 meters and up to 10x adds a lot of zip with good accuracy to at least 25-30 yards, and there are more custom mods and 3rd party parts available than perhaps any other mass produced air gun today. The downsides are plastic grips, easily replaced with a variety of very nice wood grips and an enlarged pump handle called a super pumper; plastic breach and sights, easilly replaced; and a sloppy and hard to squeeze trigger, easily improved by the owner or professionally done by numerous 3rd party customizers. I own two of these and have added wood target grips on one; a Crossman shoulder stock on another; super pumpers on both, and one is soon to be converted to .22 caliber as all of the necessary parts can be found on the web or numerous Crossman Blogs and ordered from Crossman or several 3rd party sources. This includes longer barrels, steel breaches, different sights, trigger shoes, scope mounts--the list goes on and on. With the super pumper and the basic geometry of the Crossman 1377C pumping it is easier and less tiring for me than my Benjamin HB-22 which is another good classic.

This air pistol does what I want it to do. It is consistently accurate and has the power that I had hoped. The simple design makes it probable that it will last.

This air pistol is a great, updated version of the Crosman classic. It has plenty of power for small game like rabbits and squirels. The cock-on-opening bolt is a vast improvement over the older, handle-less sytem of the past that required manual cocking prior to firing. It is exceedingly accurate. The only difference that I didn't like is that this version is designed to use pellets only, whereas the older version was designed to use BB's as well. As a result, the new bolt does not have a magnetic tip. Overall, I am very pleased with this air pistol.

Excellent airgun for a great price. Nice accessories available too - I put on some cocobolo target grips and forarm from RBgrips and love 'em! Also like the variable fps you can choose via number of pumps - with 10 pumps (max) taking you to a surprising 600fps. Sights are minimally acceptable. Can adjust (loosen screw, slide sight around, tighten up) but I would prefer some sort of micrometer adjustable rear sight - currently looking for one.

I found it to be pretty good out of the box, except the trigger was a little heavy, which caused the barrel to move slightly when trigger was pulled. Excellent trigger job can be done by removing grip panel and compressing the spring a little by trial and error. Be very careful not to get it too light. I got 1 inch groups at 45 feet afterwards. Lots of fun!

I just bought one of these guns. It is fairly accurate, 2 inch groups unsupported from 10 yds. I really like the barrel length as well and for the price, it is a pretty good value. However, the grips are lacking as is the trigger. Other than that, it is an amazing value.
