Like its Triple-Shock cousin, the Tipped Triple-Shock bullet delivers the same "three strikes you're out" rule. Once as it strikes game, two as the bullet begins to open and a third impact when the cavity fully expands to deliver extra shock with maximum transferred energy. The added polymer tip creates a faster expansion rate as well as better long range ballistics.
These revolutionary bullets from Barnes are made of 100% copper and contain no lead. Barnes recommends initially seating bullets 0.050" off the lands. Best accuracy will be found from 0.030" to 0.070" depending on the rifle. This is not loaded ammunition.

I loaded these Barnes 30 cal. 130 gr. TTSX bullets in my 300 RUM. Shot great with an avg. speed of 3750, very flat out to 400 yds. Deer were taken with these loads out to 550 yards dropping them instantly with bullet performance as promised. All animals dropped on the spot with shot placement just behind the shoulder, with no to very little bloodshot damage where bullet entered the animals. This is a perfect all around bullet.

Two for two on whitetail deer. Used in a .30-30 single shot. Groups under 1.2 inches at 100 yards all day long. Doe dropped in her tracks the buck went about 50 yards. Both were lung shots. Both exited.
