Packed with features and upgrades, the Quick-N-EZ Tumbler is the biggest advancement in case tumbling in years. The unique bowl design increases brass agitation for fast, aggressive cleaning that reduces wear on reloading dies and extends brass life. A clear lid lets the user monitor the tumbling action, while a cord-mounted on/off switch provides safety and convenience. At the center of it all, the powerful motor is solid and reliable; ready to provide years of tough cleaning action. The Rotary Media Separator quickly separates brass from media with a turn of the handle. I purchased this kit in January. I clean 400-1500 cases a month with it and have had no issues. I've read others say that it is slow, however I have nothing to compare it to. Excessively dirty cases take 2-3 hours to clean, but most often I've achieved satisfactory results in 30 minutes to an hour. If the more expensive tumblers are faster I would have to clean quite a few more cases on a regular basis to justify the increased cost. As for the separator, it's true that if you get carried away with turning the handle you'll fling media all over the place. However, I find that if I turn the handle back and forth a few times the majority of the media drops out right away and then I can spin away without making a mess.

I really like this tumbler, I do a lot of reloading and have wore two other tumblers out. What I like about this tumbler is that it is very quiet and has a powerful motor and it came with a media bucket. That keeps my area much cleaner. I count that as a bonus. I really like my new tumbler.

I clean 2-3000 cases a week in this tumbler, that came 4 month ago to replace my old Lyman. I load it almost full, so it takes 2-3 hours to give shiny cases. The separator is good for the price, if you don't get too excited turning the handle.

I highly recommend this tumbler kit to the reloading starter, as I am. It took approximately 7 minutes from arrival till I was cleaning brass with it. Can't speak for this particular one versus another, cause this is my first; but, I highly recommend this one for ease of set-up and use.

This is a great value, especially for start-up reloaders. The tumbler has worked flawlessly but the separator leaves a little to be desired. But that doesn't mean it won't do the job, I've been cleaning 2-3k cases a month without a single problem.

Just got mine put together today and I love it. I had a little trouble with getting the media separator together right but tried a little spray lube on the pin and it went right together. Took about 45 min to clean 200- 38spl rounds and they look good. Just going to throw them in with some polish like the instructions say and see how it works. Overall this seems to be a great product for the price. Also the machine makes little noise compared to some tumblers I've heard.

I've worked mine at least twice a week for 13 months. I reload 9mm, .357/38, .40 S&W, .223 Rem and 7.62x39 for my family and 2 friends. I estimate I've run at least 25k cases, mostly pistol, through mine without a hitch. Any time you can fill up a bowl 2/3 of the way with 9mm cases and still get good action, you've got a winner for the money. I'm in the process of ordering another setup so I can use walnut in one and corn in the other.

I just received the Frankford Arsenal case tumbler master kit. Assembly was a snap, it took longer to get the tools out of the shop than to put it together. You just drop the nuts in place, put the bowl in place, turn upside down and put the screws in. There is no need for drilling like other reviews have suggested. I did use a cordless drill with a screwdriver attachment. Once you start turning the screw, it aligns itself. The separator is not the sturdiest, but is adequate for the job. Overall a great buy for the price.

Received mine today - right on time. After reading the other reviews, I was expecting a me. However, unlike most of the others, I didn't have any problem with the mounting nut alignment. I just sat down in my chair, loaded all three nuts and set the bowl on. After that, I laid the tumbler on its side between my legs and using a pin, slid a nut up to align it with the hole and screwed in the screw. No problem. Did the same for the other two. Oh, Oh. Forgot the lock washer. Removed the screws and put on the lock washer and reinstalled the screws. Again, no problem.

Got mine in today. It's a bit quieter than I expected. I'd say it's more quiet than a dishwasher. It's quiet enough that I'll probably leave it in my computer/reloading room. First try didn't do that good of a job, but I took out some of the media, and that time it worked great. Better than the drill and brillo-pad I was using before.

This is now my 3rd vibratory tumbler and so far I really love this kit. My 1st was designed for rock or brass tumbling and after about 15 yrs. of service it retired and I was unable to find a replacement motor. The 2nd was from Harbour Freight and failed within the first year. (The motor still worked but some of the motor mounts broke and the top plate on which the bowl rests broke. I may try to repair it.) Then I bought this kit! Great unit so far and I am confident Frankford Arsenal will be around awhile. It's been running almost 24/7 for about a month and is still running great! DO NOT OVERLOAD ANY TUMBLER, 2/3 FULL IS MAX. AND PLACE ON A FLAT SURFACE ONLY! I especially love the media separator! It's SOOO MUCH BETTER than the modified panning pan with slots that I had been using. Media is separated within 4-7 turns of the handle and if you reload rifle cartridges you how hard this process is. This is worth its weight in gold! It does seem a little flimsy but it works very well and replacement parts are available for it and the tumbler! I usually run two tumblers; one cleaning the other polishing. If I don't fix the HF unit I will probably buy another FA unit. I sporadically reload at about a commercial level... a month or two at a time 1-2 times a year. I will not shoot or sell dirty ammo. FA provides a complete diagram of their unit and the separator. They do state that some parts for the tumbler may not be available for replacement. (This is a common statement for component parts of a subassembly, say motor brushes) You would probably need to purchase the whole motor. Hope this was helpful.

Bought this about 1-1/2 to 2 yrs ago, and have tumbled several thousand cases with it and they have come out looking good as long as your media fresh. I normally turn this on before I go to work or bed and when I get up in the morning or from work in the evening they look new. I did have a problem with the motor dying bout 6mos ago, Called Midway, and had a new one in about 2 days free of charge. They said to just use the old one for spare parts (bowl, nut, top, etc)or whatever, they didn't even want the old one back for a core or anything like that.

This Tumbler / Separator Combo definitely deserves a five star rating. It's well built, reasonable and easy to use. I can't see anyone downgrading the separator as I think it works great and is built well. Those who complain of making a mess must be trying to set some sort of speed record. Don't really need the guards, 20 to 25 RPMs are plenty fast enough and the shells come out clean. The supplied polish is really great and needs to be used onyx sparingly to produce nice shiny brass. I use a mixture of walnut and corncob media and I'm very satisfied with the results.

I've had this product for about a year. I've had only one gripe, I wish I had bought two of these at the time as I clean a lot of brass. The time it takes to clean brass is no longer with this tumbler than the any other, and all tumblers make noise. this one isn't any louder than my other tumbler from another manufacture. As far as motors quitting only power outages have stopped this one. The media separator is what it is. All have down sides I only wish this one had better hold downs for the basket.

Couldn’t ask for anything more in a case tumbler / media separator. I do about 5 thousand cases of .223 a month and this thing works flawlessly. I do clean my brass with vinegar before putting them in there, then 20 minutes, then off to be sized and deprimed, trimmed, chamfered and deburred. They make there way back into this tumbler for about an hour and a half and they come out mirror bright!!

I think it is a nice set for a starter. If or when mine gives out on me I don't think I will buy it again, but for my first and for the price I couldn't beat it since I got it for $50 on sale. It is kind of loud and takes awhile to get the brass clean, but it cleans it nicely. I have had up to 280 rounds of .40 S&W with no problems. The only thing I hated was the initial set-up the screws aren't lined up that great so it took a little muscle to get it together right.

Bought this kit when it was on sale. Excellent for the value. So far the tumbler has held up great. (About 20 4 hour sessions totaling about 1500 to 2000 cases of .45 and .308) The tumbler works well with corn cob and walnut. After adjustment to find out what it likes, it runs great with about 2-1/2 pounds of media and 100 .45 cases or 50 .308 cases. The media separator is awkward to use, flimsy and doesn't fit inside the bucket well. I would recommend the tumbler but would purchase a different rotary separator. I would be leery of its performance with large rifle brass (.300 Win-Mag and larger) It just doesn't have a large capacity. For the price however it's hard to beat.

So after doing some review on tumblers, I decided on this one because of the cost and what it is bundled with. The tumbler works GREAT. I have cleaned over 2000 .223 cases already and all of them have came on clean. It took about 2 hours to clean about 250 cases which is a bit more than the stated 30min-1hr in their handbook. But regardless it cleans really well. The reason why I can't give it 5 stars is because of the media separator. The quality is quite lacking plus the design isn't as good as other brands like the one that RCBS sells. This separator is a open top separator so small amounts of dust comes out when tumbling the cases. The RCBS separator is better because it's in an enclosed structure thus limiting your exposure to lead in the sawdust. But overall very good deal and works great...but I would get the tumbler separate from the tumbler.

You can't beat this kit for the price. The tumbler works great and holds lots of brass (about 200 pieces of 30-06 or 500 pieces of .45ACP). It cleans everything up pretty fast. I put it on a lamp timer and turn it on when I go to bed. Six hours latter it turns off and when I get up everything is shiny. I'd definitely buy the tumbler again. The case separator is an entirely different story. It works well enough except that it scatters media everywhere (if you're not SUPER careful) and it breaks quickly. I wouldn't buy the separator again, but it's definitely worth what you pay for it.

I got it as a starter and it was LOUD!!! It worked about 2 months of what I would call light us and it burned out. I called Frankford Arsenal and they replaced it for free. The new one is much more quiet and have run it about 4 months with no problems so far. I do not have another to compare to, but to get the dirty cases to sparkle like new it needs to tumble them for about 12 HOURS! It is getting louder, I bet running 12 hours every few days is getting to it and I expect it to burn up again. If it is not replaced again I will get something better.

I give it three stars because it is CHEAP and works. It really has a made-in-china-feel to it. You must put the center rod in tight or it will come out while tumbling or taking the top off. The center rod for the lid is picky about how tight it must be to work. At first I didn't think it would circulate the brass right, but once I adjusted that center rod and had all the bolts tight at the base it works fine. I am doing small batches, but have put a good quantity through it (over 1000 large rifle cases). I would have bought RCBS, DILLON, or better product, but spent the cash on more brass etc. You can also get corn cob or great walnut hull at a pet place (used for bedding) if you need extra.

Bought this set thinking it would be of the same quality as the "old model". The tumbler was LOUD and it took a long time to get moderately dirty cases clean. The rotary media separator was a total waste of time, the "axles" would pull out of the cage each time I tried to use it, The clips that attach to the bucket would slide around the edge. This was not what I expected. However upon calling Midway Customer Service I sent the units back for a full refund. In my opinion, spend the extra money and buy the Hornady tumbler and RCBS Media Separator.

I purchased this kit in June, and was completely satisfied with all aspects of it, that is, until October of the same year, when my motor on the tumbler also burned out! I have since gone back and re-read the reviews on this product, and I find that most of the positive ones are from folks that have just received their kit and have not spent time using and working with it. The advertisement says it will give years of service; most likely that will not be the case. However, Midway was great in their customer service, and gave me full credit on the tumbler, which I used to buy the Hornady product! Once I've put some mileage on that product I'll leave some feedback on it. Thanks Midway for standing behind their products!

It works the best with walnut media. I'm happy with the way it worked. It did do a good job, BUT after about 500 rounds of brass cleaning the motor burned out. I was happy with the way it worked but very unhappy with how long it lasted. I would not buy another one.

Construction seemed to be pretty durable for the price and was easy to assemble, but motor ran for about 10 seconds before it completely died. Maybe I just got a bad one...

DO NOT BUY THIS COMBO PACKAGE... I bought this as a sale price item, Tumbler works fine but agitates the brass very slowly compared to the Midway model, I suspect this will require longer cleaning time for equal results, I have both running right now.. The rotary sifter is nothing but junk, the lock for the basket is not a snap, but instead a pin that needs to be forced into slots and then forced back out, if you lose this pin you will have to try and find something else to jam in there to keep this pile of junk together.. The sifter does not have pins to hold it steady while you load and unload it.. Rather than a basket to hold the sifter, they use clip snaps that attach to the bucket a total of four pieces, all of which are flimsy and prone to be broken and/or lost

Got it in late Dec 06 and quit running on 04/24/07 with light use. Pay extra for a quality machine.

I just purchased the master kit. When it arrived, it was missing the hardware pack for assembly in reference to the tumbler. Contacted the manufacturer and one was shipped. Upon arrival and putting the tumbler together, it was found that the rotary separator was missing a part! JUST KNEW I SHOULD HAVE ORDERED THE RCBS MODEL

I don't use this very often because the internal wiring keeps breaking. And they have bad service that doesn't cover their engineering flaws. I also know of two others that have the same problem.

My first one made so much noise you could not stay in the room with it. A friend said that they had fixed the problem so I got another. Well It was less noisy but the motor burned out in two weeks and the first on also quit after about 9 months of light work. I will never buy another.

I received this tumbler kit as a gift. The first tumbler died after light use. The replacement also died after light use but was out of warranty. One of the wires broke loose from a connection due to vibration. It was extremely noisy and didn't agitate the brass very well.

Same problem as everyone else. Motor died after maybe 15 hours of use. I pulled it apart and you can see that the bottom bearing is in a rubber cup that allows too much movement. The stator strikes the motor and shorts it out. Poor design. Don't waste your money on this one. You'll be way far ahead of the game just going with something quality like a Dillon right off the bat.

I would not buy this again, used mine less than 10 times and quit working completely. Shoots PD's once a year so I have rarely used this but have had it for four years. When I called in to Midway I was told the unit had a one year warranty and would not be replaced. Wish I would of spent a little more the first time.

I had a old Midway tumbler with a lifetime waranty. It went bad and they told me that they would not honor the lifetime waranty but would send me another tumbler. So I sent them the old tumbler and had to pay to ship it back. They sent me a new tumbler I used it a time and the motor went bad. So now I have to pay to send it back and get a new one. I have an RCBS tumbler and have never had any problems with it. I have to date spent more money shiping Midway's products back to them than they are worth.

My tumbler lasted about 2.5 years before the electric motor gave up. I tumble about two hundred cases a month so a little over 5k cases and that's all she wrote. I would not recommend this tumbler.

The positive reviews of this are from those who only recently received it. After 2 months of light use, motor burned out. When it did work, the noise was terrible and took forever to get clean cases. Spend the extra few dollars for quality, this thing is JUNK!
