I got mine today. It came a day ahead of the expected time. Every thing was in good shape. Now I need to bolt it down, I put everything together hoping to put it to work this weekend. Thanks Midway.

How could you not like this deal? Almost everything needed to begin reloading in one box. Seems rugged enough to spit out thousands of rounds as long as you don't beat on it like a kid trying to force a square peg into a round hole. Everything seems to operate pretty smoothly, and with a little bit of careful practice and measuring, accurate rounds can be produced cheaper than buying most ammo in bulk. One of the best investments for my firearms I've ever made.

I bought one of these to get back into reloading as I sold my old stuff years ago. This kit come with most of what you need to get started. Once again Lee has put together a great product for people to get introduced, or reintroduced to reloading. No one else even comes close to the price. Is some of it kind of gippy? Sure, but it works, and works well why spend more? I love the priming on the press and the primer catch, I wish the bushings were a little thicker on top, but for the price I love it!

Mr. Lee has done it again. He built a better mouse trap for less dollars. How can any person not love this kit! As to the people that slam any Lee product, I don't know where they're coming from. I get awesome results from Lee products. I've owned other brands before including the green, orange, & the other green. Yes, the press is aluminum, but it's solid. I use this press for loads up to .35 caliber. If I want to size larger cartridges, I may use my Lee classic cast. It still costs much less to purchase this kit & the classic cast than to buy one kit from "the other guys!" The breech inserts are great. I have Lee deluxe rifle die sets so the dies with the breech inserts still fit in the Lee deluxe boxes. Thank you Mr. Lee.

I ordered mine for Christmas it arrived several days earlier than indicated. I had it assembled and operating within an hour. It took some time to get the lee dies set correctly, but I am a first time reloader. I've already loaded 1k rnds of both 380 & 40. Once you set the powder measure it is deadly accurate. I started checking every powder throw and quickly went to every 10th rnd. The quick change bushings are awesome. Thanks to Lee for another excellent product.

Great little press. The Anniversary kit has the Safety prime press mounted tray and trigger system rather than the hand held priming system. I've used this systems to load 9mm Luger, short mags and the 375 H&H with good success. It has plenty of capacity and strength, making it a major value for experienced and new handloaders. The Beech Lock Quick Change die system is a single bushing design that addresses the deficiencies found in other products with similar intent. The Breech Lock press can used in both quick change and conventional die change configurations. I purchased two kits this year as gifts for family members who wanted to begin handloading and needed a good start.

This kit was the best purchase I could have made. After getting into long range shooting, I was able to make incredibly accurate loads for my .308 Savage with this setup at a fraction of the cost of other kits I was considering. You will never go wrong with Lee precision especially at this price. DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS ITEM. You will never regret it.

Really a great set. I bought mine from Midway ten years ago and I've used it on .44 and 9mm with no problems, probably 1000 rounds and strong as ever, shows no signs of anything other than wanting to keep on rocking and rolling. Yeah, the scale is not the easiest but in my experience it is extremely accurate, it's a bit of a hassle to set it up but once set up you're on the way. The powder measure is amazing, to me at least -- this thing is consistent, I check maybe every ten shells as I start out loading but then go to twenty or thirty, because every time it is right on the money. Amazingly, it's less today than I paid ten years ago, the dollar was worth more then -- this is a good deal.

The price is amazing. The press is excellent. I used it with my RCBS 45-ACP dies and was up and running in under an hour. Worked like a charm. I really like the quick die change feature. Much quicker than my old Rock Chucker. Everything was easy to set up and worked perfectly. I was skeptical of the powder measure and the scale, but both work wonderfully. The scale is touchy, but extremely accurate. Once you get the hang of it, it works just fine. I have an RCBS 505 scale and a Franklin digital. I checked the Lee scale by measuring a random charge. Then I checked it on both the 505 and digital scales. The Lee scale was dead on! It just takes a steady hand to use, as it is very sensitive to movement. The only downside is that the 1/10 grain measurement is small and difficult to see when you have old eyes like mine. The powder measure is plastic and I figured it to be junk. It's not! It's a very good powder measure. The settings are in cubic centimeters, rather than just being numbers without any specific meaning. Lee load data shows the cc number for the load. This gives me a starting point with the powder measure rather than just having to wing it to get a starting point. From there I weigh the charge and make small adjustments until I get the right charge set. It's fast and easy. I've been reloading shot shells for years and just getting back into loading rifle and pistol cartridges after a long break. For a guy whose just getting his feet wet again, this is a terrific kit.

I am a first time reloader and did a lot of research before I purchased the Lee Anniversary Breech-lock Press Kit. For the money, there is NO better way to get started reloading. Except for the caliber specific Die Set and Accu-Gage, everything else to get started reloading is included in the kit. Of course you need your own shell casings, bullets, powder and primers, but these are available through MidwayUSA. When I received the Anniversary Kit, I read, followed and understood the instructions, and had everything set-up and ready to reload in less than 1 hour. I loaded my first hundred rounds, went to the range and fired them off. PERFECT!!!, I have since reloaded 900 rounds more, and am looking forward to reloading many thousands, in various calibers, as time goes by. Everything I read about Lee Products is true. These are High quality pieces of equipment that will provide you with very satisfying results. Thanks go out to Lee and MidwayUSA for making these items available and very affordable. I would HIGHLY recommend both Lee Products and MidwayUSA to all.

great way to get into reloading. I have used this kit for 3 years and have not needed to upgrade anything. it is not the fastest or prettiest press in the business but it makes great ammo without a lot of cost. I make ammo for my H&R ultra varmint .204 that consistently shoots .25 inch groups at 100 yards. that is with using the provided powder measure and only weighing 1 in every 10 charges. scale is accurate as long as you follow instructions in the kit and have it level (you must keep every scale level). the best bang for your buck(pun intended)in the reloading world. if you shoot under .22 cal.

Great product, I'm a first timer and it didn't take long to get the hang of it. Straight forward press. The quick locks make it extremely easy to change between calibers without having to reset the dies, so make sure when you buy dies buy the case length and shell holder for that caliber and also extra quick-lock bushings. Primers sometimes don't want to feed correctly but that is few and far between so not really an issue but it has happened. The safety scale is great and accurate but time consuming so invest in a digital scale to make things quicker. Thousands of rounds made and it's still perfect. Would recommend to anyone. Hope this helps.

I have been an outdoorsman for as long as I can remember. I can also remember always using factory ammo but once a relative made some "custom" loads for me one time and the accuracy went from good to incredible... I was sold. I bought this Lee Anniversary Kit after doing much research on the "other" guys and found it to be of tremendous value. It will load anything from my little .243 Winchester up to my big .300 Remington Ultra Magnum. "Almost" everything is included in the Kit to get you started loading, 'cept the dies. Have fun!

The kit is everything you need except for a set of dies and a case length gage and shellholder, other reloading kits by other manufactures cost 3 times as much, The press is by far as durable as the RCBS , the safety scale is very sensitive and very accurate, the perfect powder measure is by far the best I have used even though it’s very inexpensive its performance is top notch and does everything they say it will, no jerky action, binding, or powder cutting, the thimble could be a lot easier to read as it is very hard to see the numbers and graduations on it to shiny, all in all the anniversary kit is an awesome bargain

I purchased my first Challenger press 15 years ago and recently decided it was time to replace the old girl. I ordered this kit and I am amazed. This is a total rebuild of the Challenger - the press is so smooth and accurate that I want another! The all steel linkage is a definite upgrade and the primer catch is flawless. So far I have run 30-06 and 308 (small base dies for my autoloaders), 7.62x54R, 30-30 and 7MM WSM - no flex, perfect function. As for the powder measure I set it up, ran a hopper of powder through (READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!) and then threw and weighed 20 charges of 2400 powder. Every charge was perfect. Slow down, operate the powder measure in smooth, complete strokes and you will be on the money. The scale is excellent, although at 100 grains max it is powder or light bullets only. The prime system is a cinch to set up and I love the function - easy. Above all else, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! If the old challenger lasted 15 years (and more than 20,000 rounds by my records), this should be in use when my Grandson is teaching his son to reload!

This set is way beyond my expectations. Every part was just as described. It all was top notch with the exception of the trimmer. I recommend getting a table mounted version. I have ran quite a few rounds through it and perfect in every way. The binder bolts that remove the free play work well. The ram needed some break in to be smooth as also true with the capper. It all smoothed out after a dozen rounds and some wd-40. The breech lock is awesome.

I have ran over 300 rounds to try it and perfect operation. The set had some great parts to it. The scale continues to check out when I double check it against a standard. the powder measure works well, the primer seater can be a bit troublesome but it does work and is safer due to only one primer being set far away from the other primers. you will need a trickler and a case lube pad. A shell tray is pretty handy too. One of the better parts is the adjustment that lets you take free play from the press handle.

I bought this kit to get into reloading and its been great so far. The only thing keeping me from rating it five stars is the scale that is included. The 1/10 grain poise is a challenge to read and understand. The breech lock feature is great and makes it easy to change from one die to the next. The powder measure is great as well. I'm using 700x powder and it meters very consistently. For those getting into reloading, I'd recommend the following additions to this kit: 1. Tumbler/Media/Polish 2. Lee Carbide 4-die set 3. An alternate scale (I'm using a Lyman 500) 4. A bullet puller 5. Micrometer 6. Reloading Manual 7. Lee Breech Lock Bushings (the kit comes with 3, if you get the 4 die set you'll need one more)

This press is great for the price. I have used Lee products for several years and have been very satified with the performance of the equipment. The scales that come with this kit are of low quality though. The weight readings are hard to make out and the sliding scale for the tenths of a grain will move without your knowledge if you are not very careful. The press is well built and very sturdy. The powder measure does the job and seems to be consistent each time. Lee products are a good buy for the price.

I purchased this kit to get into reloading and was very happy with the price and everything that was included. The press broke after only 200 rds of .223 REM but was replaced by LEE quickly and at no cost to me. Since then it has loaded another 200rds of .223 and 100 rds of .308 WIN. The press is accurate and I was pleasantly surprised by the consistency of the powder throw I was getting +/- 10th grain. Unfortunately the scale that came with it was very slow and was rarely the same measurment. Even on just the pan itself! I now use a digital scale which works perfectly. All in all good deal for price

This kit is a good value for the price, I have used it to load 7mm WSM, 270 Win, .223, and 300 Win mag with no problems. As stated above the scale is cheaply made but mine is very accurate and works fairly well, the perfect powder measure is very consistent but when using larger powder granules such as H-1000 I have to tap on the drop tube to get the powder to flow into the case other than that it is a great starter kit and I would recommend it to anyone.

For a value start into reloading, this seems to be the way to go. This kit had almost everything I needed to start reloading in it, I bought only dies, a cutter shellholder and gauge, and consumables to start loading my own ammo. The kit contains good instructions on operation and reloading with it. Lee's quality of machining was decent, although I didn't think the finish on the steel pieces was the best though. Otherwise, this is a great value in reloading.

Great kit and the price can't be beat. The scale is kind of funky but works reliably. The press looks cheap but looks are deceiving as it performs flawlessly. The powder measure is fairly accurate. Just break it in as per instructions. I gave this kit four stars because the powder measure leaks powder out the side. I am using Ramshot Silhouette. After 100 rounds I had collected 8 grains of "leaked" powder. Not acceptable and I will be returning the powder measure under warranty.

For the price I am astounded at what you get. I gave this product 4 stars only because the instructions for a new reloader was very vague. Once I figured it all out, I was surprised that with the exception of the dies, I got more than I thought I would get!! The primer feeder looks kind of flimsy but it does the job. I installed this on a portable workbench but it will work much better on a heavy solid table. The workbench required me to support the press during each stroke. This was kind of a pain in the butt. All in all for less than $100 bucks I would really recommend this but just plan on reviewing the setup instructions over several times.
