As you know, military 8mm Mauser Military ammo has been drying up for some time. What I liked about your product Winchester Western 8mm was that I can shoot it without having to change my sights as it shoots accurately at 200 yards with out having to re-zero my scopes and sights. I shoot 4, 8mm Mausers and dearly love them all. I reload and wish components were more available--especially brass. I gave one of my books to Larry Potterfield a few years ago about the Daniel Boone Home. I see him on TV so much that I will have to ask him for his autograph the next time I see him. I have switched to 8mm Winchester Super X ammunition because it shoots a better group than my old military ammo, it's non-corrosive, and it shoots as good as my reloads. It's great for deer hunting with several of my sporterized 8x57 rifles.

30 years ago I first shot this in a Turk Mauser and they are my favorite - I still have that gun customized. In my 270's and 308's - I like several available brands, but for the 8MM the Winchester's pointed power-point is perfect and not available in many areas. Thank you for continuing to make this cartridge.

I got 2-1/2" groups at 100yds with an old sporterized Turk Mauser with the old original worn barrel. This ammo is a little light (2360 fps) compared to military ammo. The 98 actions will handle a lot heavier loads.
