Could not test expansion, but accuracy is consistent. The +P loading is great for short-barreled S&W 66PC & others built for higher pressures. Non +P load is perfect match for my older Colt Det Spl. Added plus for reloaders is Starline brass.

Effective non +P 38 special 158 grain ammo is hard to find. This fills a big need for older air weight and small frame revolvers. The wide hollow point, soft alloy and useful velocity in an accurate round are perfect in that application.
