Hard shooting accurate ammo. Out of several brands of +P ammo this was the most accurate out of my Ruger P95. It was also the loudest and had more recoil than other brands.

Excellent ammo, as Black Hills is known for. This 9mm load gets my vote of confidence as the most practical carry/practice ammo for my wife's Kahr Lady K9. Using the 124 gr. Gold Dot bullet at a velocity that approaches mid-range .357 Magnum levels, this Black Hills loads is accurate and reliable from our 9mm handguns.

Absolutely the best 9mm ammo out there in my opinion. I wish it was just a tad cheaper but it is worth a little extra $$. Nice snappy round to fire off (makes a big bang, too) and superbly accurate.

Good ammo at a very fair price. It's loaded fairly hot and tipped with the excellent 124 gr Speer Gold Dot bullet. I use this as carry ammo in my CZ 75B. Gives good practical accuracy in offhand shooting. There's a bit of muzzle flip, which cuts into speed for followup shots, but I suspect this can be reduced with more practice and training on my part. Recommended.

Powerful round and quite accurate, even out of my Subcompact XD-9. Pretty good "Boom" shockwave compared to Non +P Ammo. Wear your muffs! I'd not wish to be on the receiving end of this!

The bullet is a 124 gr Hornady XTP. Feeds great in both Kel-tec P-11 and CZ-85B. Water tested the 124 gr XTP in my 3" P-11. Clocked a bit over 1100 fps and penetrated ~27" and expanded to ~ .5" through 8 layers of cloth. That's about equal to 16" in ballistic gel. This is my carry load in both weapons!

Reliable and accurate. This stuff packs a punch, but I wish Black Hills would advertise the bullets that they're using.

Dead accurate from a Browning Hi-Power and really not all that difficult to control. They shoot clean, use Starline brass, and are topped with Gold Dots. The terminal performance and ballistics of these are pretty similar to the "genuine" Speer +P loading, but the Black Hills version is definitely a better buy considering you get 50 rounds per box instead of 20.

Excellent ammo, reliable, accurate, consistent. The 124gr. bullet is a Sierra HP not a Speer Gold-Dot.

As another reviewer mentioned, the current ammo is NOT using the Gold Dot bullet. The ammo I bought a couple weeks ago is loaded with what appears to be Speer's more standard Uni-Core bullet, which is also a bonded-core design, but isn't quite up to the performance standard of the Gold Dot in my opinion. The change from the Gold Dot to another bullet design is why I gave the product 4 stars instead of the coveted 5-star rating. While a couple boxes isn't much of a test, it all performed well in my Glock without having any functioning problems and offering accuracy similar to other hollow point defense-oriented ammo.
