Overexposure to lead vapor can cause serious health problems, but these bullets feature a lead core that is completely covered by copper plating. They are resized after being plated with approximately 0.004" of copper plating. This unique design makes them suitable for most indoor ranges, which often require the use of bullets with no exposed lead. The base is slightly concave to maximize the bullet to bore seal.

Note:

  • Rainier recommends a maximum velocity of 1,500 fps.

Excellent bullett. I have been reloading this 124 grain round nose bullett and shoot it in CX4 Beretta Storm Carbine, CZ75B 9mm SA and CZ75B SA/DA and have had no problems whatsoever. I reload using the Dillon RL 550 machine.

I only gave them a 4 because I'm not that good of a shooter to tell if they are a 5 or not. But, I can say that they are very uniform, quite accurate, and don't leave a lot of fouling in the barrel. The old timer who got me into reloading always said "you'll never wear out a barrel shooting lead". Well, this is one step better since your not being exposed to that lead, but still can reap the same benefits of a softer bullet.

Tried these in both my Glock 19 and my Kahr K9. Same results. Poor accuracy. I have no problems with Rainier 45 Bullets in my 1911 guns, but I can't seem to get these to group.
