Overexposure to lead vapor can cause serious health problems, but these bullets feature a lead core that is completely covered by copper plating. They are resized after being plated with approximately 0.004" of copper plating. This unique design makes them suitable for most indoor ranges, which often require the use of bullets with no exposed lead. The base is slightly concave to maximize the bullet to bore seal. This is not loaded ammunition.

Note:

  • Rainier recommends a maximum velocity of 1,500 fps.

This bullet is very accurate in my Glock 27. When used with AA-5 powder it is consistently more accurate than any other bullet/powder combination I've tried during the past 5 years. I hope they never change the design of this guy!

I have shot many rainier bullets in all of my handguns, revolvers and automatics. I have found them to be very accurate and they feed reliably. No lead fouling, because of there full copper plating. Makes shooting my .40 caliber Glocks so much cheaper

I bought 1000 of these to run through my Glock 22. Put them atop W231 and they shoot great. They will hit a beer can at 20 yards all day long. Just loaded up another 500 rounds last night and had no problems what so ever. Just wish these bullets came in boxes of 5000 because this round is going to be my new "gonna go shootin all day" ammo.

I have been using these for the past few months with no problems. Clean shooting, feeds excellent in my Glock 20 10mm. I will be buying more in the future.

I have had good results with these bullets. I had a little trouble at first, as I was thinking of them as jacketed bullets, which they are not. They are PLATED bullets. This means they are softer and perform more like naked lead bullets. So once I figured out that I needed to reduce the power load I was using, I started getting outstanding accuracy. Be sure to start low with your powder, and don't go by the jacketed load data. Go by plated load data if you have it. If not, start by using lead bullet load data instead.

I load this bullet in a CZ75 compact 40 S&W. Win SP primers with a loaded overall length of 1.135 (max) shoots an inch at 25 yards all day long. Excellent value for the money.

Economical substitute for jacketed bullets. No problems with loading. Actually seem "slippryier" than jacketed bullets. No problem with leading (coppering?) of the barrel.

I like the Rainier Bullets 100% metal jacket. I tried the round nose flat point bullets to compare them to the truncated cones. I prefer how the truncated cones handle in the reloading process, but all the Rainier Bullets seem to be an excellent value.

Rainier Bullets are the best value for the money. When using this shaped bullet I've occasionally run into an alignment problem getting them to seat properly in the case, but only 1 or 2 per hundred. They fire clean and I find them very accurate in my S&W Sigma 40. Thanks Rainier
