This thing is heavy. And it holds a large amount of powder. The trickler mechanism seems especially well implemented in this design. I have seen it consistently drop a single flake. You get what you pay for in this product.

IT DOESN'T SLIDE! And it's only six bucks more than the plastic one sold by Lyman. Spend the extra and avoid aggravation. Not enough stars to rate this one.

Just like everyone has said, it is a good heavy tool. Very well built. I too especially like its heft. Much better than its competitors. The price is steeper than the others, but I for one think it is well worth the extra cost.

I'd give this product six stars if I could. Am reloading for my .375 H&H using a Dillon 650, which is not the ideal press for the task. The powder measure is lucky to hit within two grains of the targeted load of H4350. This trickler is solid as a rock and extremely accurate, metering to much less than .1 grain. I love it. Highly recommended.

Wow! Worth every penny. I looked at every last powder trickler before settling on the Redding. Nice textured surface. Solid construction. No plastic. HEAVY and stays put--no tip over problems. It feels like the bottom is one big chunk of metal. The trickler mechanism works smoothly. WELL worth the few extra bucks. I set mine on a piece of wood so that it is tall enough to dispense into my PACT electronic scale.

I just got this the other day. It is amazing! I would have rated it six stars if they would have allowed it. Do yourself a faver and pay the extra couple of bucks for this one. It is the only one that is weighted and that you can use one handed. It works great. Very smooth operating. It brings your loads up very fast and accurate. Excellent product. I wouldn't buy anything else.

This one is fun to use. Nice and heavy! I’m proud to own mine. Expensive but still good value I was hesitant to shell out the cash for a simple reloading tool. Easily used with one hand and not easily knocked over. These days some try to make their products to affordable by compromising quality even to the point of uselessness. This one is no compromise and for just a few bucks more. I am happy with this product.

Great trickler. It is heavy enough with a low center of gravity to keep it from tipping over. I can operate it with one hand. Works very well. I'm very pleased with this trickler.

Without a doubt the finest powder trickling instrument available. I sent my Hornady trickler into the trash can after seeing one of these. Extremely smooth operation (like all Redding products I've encountered), large powder capacity, and very well built. Weight allows for one hand operation, and smoothness of operation allows for consistent trickling. A little on the spendy side, but you get what you pay for.

I had other and cheaper tricklers. They were flimsy and easy to knock over. This one is heavy and stays put while turning the tube. It's worth every penny. Don't waste your money, buy this one and you won't be sorry.

Without question, these are the finest powder tricklers on the market. So there is no chance of accidentally mixing powders, I keep two of them on my reloading bench, one for each of the two powder/calibers I reload for. They are heavy, hold a lot of powder and do not move around when operated. I highly recommend them.

This is the definitive powder trickler. The extra weight (1 pound) gives you stability and control while adding those last few tenths. I'm glad I didn't buy some plastic trickler because I would certainly have spilled powder all over my bench by now if I had. Trust me on this....I know me. Get this trickler if you care about high-precision loading.

This is the Cadillac of powder tricklers. It allows fine metering, and has a stable and heavy base that is narrow enough to be mounted right on the edge of most of the larger electronic scales. The hopper holds plenty and the metering arm stays put from left to right. This is the one to get, and the couple extra bucks it costs are easily worth that in reduced frustration as compared to other models.

Being a 40 reloader, I've never used a trickler before, it sure makes reloading long grain powder like 4831, 4350, 4064. One of the best things I've ever purchased to speed up reloading--a lot. Vince

What makes it great is that it is very stable due to its solid base. I used a similar product from RCBS before, and it had a tendency to tip over when the knob is rotated. That one was made from aluminum and had a hollow base. As far as the possible interference with a magnetically dampened scale, I think it's a non-issue. The trickler is normally positioned far from the magnetic part of the scale to have any effect.

Stays put, predictable, smooth enough, and will probably outlast me. Height is too low for use with an RCBS 502 so it sits on a support, no big deal. Sensitive enough to drop stick powder kernel by kernel. No complaints, well worth the money for accurate one-handed operation. Would definitely buy again.

This powder trickler is one of the best I have used. The construction is all metal and the mass in the base allows for one hand operation. This unit does not move around while it is operated. The powder capacity is generous at about two tablespoons. I have not had any trouble with it dispensing any of the powders I use, flake ball and cylindrical. One note is that the dispensing tube is a little on the loose side. Bumping the unit can make the tube move which could cause inadvertent powder drop.

Nice and heavy, no problem using one hand. Note: if you use an electronic scale like I do then you will have to build a little stand because the distance from the bottom of the trickler to the dispensing arm is only 1-5/8". Other than it being short, it works great. Well worth the money.

Excellent product overall. I'd be happy to buy another (if anything ever happened to this one.) The only negative I've found is that it's too short to work without a small piece of wood to raise it 1/2-3/4 inch. But, it's plenty heavy and stable enough to be secure sitting atop a piece of scrap 1x4. (I use mine with an RCBS 5-0-5 balance scale.) The only other question I'd have would be whether it's a good idea to use a ferrous metal trickler next to a magnetically damped balance beam scale. Although I have observed NO problems from mine.
