This 50 round magazine for the Ruger 10/22 is constructed of a durable polymer with steel feedlips for strength. The unique "teardrop" shape of the magazine allows a large amount of cartridges to be carried in a relatively compact package, as opposed to the more traditional curved magazines. Perfect for use with the 10/22 bullpup conversion kit, as this high capacity magazine will not interfere with the stock's pistol grip.

I have no idea what the previous posters were doing to their mags, but I have four of these and each has over 1,500 rounds through them with out a single issue! Granted mine are only three months old as of 8/20/2007. But the original one I bought to test out the mags has over 3,850 rounds through it and its rock steady dependable after all the rounds!

I love this MAG!!! I followed the directions and it was worded flawlessly. I had mine for little more than a year. If you’re the type that loves to play with rapid fire, this mag is must. BUT!!! Be careful with the winding of the spring during loading. Can kick back and bite you finger. But when it is loaded, it Rocks!

This is a great mag. It's just as quick to load as a normal 50 rd mag and it works. I have about 1,000 rds through mine without a problem. I also love watching the rounds as they wind their way to the chamber.

After a couple thousand rounds thru 2 of these magazines I have to give these a thumbs up. Loading is easy and they function reliably. Letting 50 rounds loose in 20 seconds is a trip. Nice for slow deliberate target practice too.

I bought one of these to try it out and have been quite satisfied. I can load 50 cartridges, put the mag in my 10/22 and fire 50 shots without a jam. It's true that it wiggles fore/aft a little, but it doesn't seem to bother feeding in my rifle. Also, loading the mag, you MUST follow the directions exactly. If you don't, it's possible to catch the rim of the top cartridge behind the rim of the next one below. This WILL jam things up. So hey, if you can follow simple step by step directions, the mag works well, and you can have a lot of fun with it. If a few extra steps loading isn't your thing, then buy 5 factory mags and swap them out when they run dry... No biggie.

Very good idea and design. The mag I had broke after the third load because of an internal failure of the spring catch.. it is a great mag, and I had no problems, even with fit, in my Ruger Charger. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE CAREFUL LOADING THIS MAG, or you can/will break it! Otherwise, follow instructions, and have a blast!

I bought one, and the spring in the belt gear was broke. Exchanged it, and that mag, the gear attached to the spring that winds the belt was broke. Both MWG mags were bad right when I got them and I never even shot anything through it! After two goes, I'm going back to the Butler Creek Hot/Steel lips mags. Never had a problem with those, and they are cheaper. Good luck if you buy this MWG mag!
