I absolutely love this thing. I made the mistake of buying a Frankford Arsenal tumbler first. After it crapped out on its second batch of brass, Midway took it in on credit towards this beauty. One time I forgot and left the tumbler on while I went away for the weekend. I came back and it was still humming away happily. That brass was SHINY!!! Buy this tumbler. It's awesome.

I've used three different tumblers, and this is by far the best yet. It can hold enough brass for a day's worth of shooting, it isn't as loud as some other tumblers. Doesn't keep the family awake when run at night.

I have used the Lyman Turbo 2500 case tumbler for 9 months and it's a great tumbler. I have been reloading since 1992 and this is the best one so far. I have used it pretty hard at times and have no problems. If I should ever need another tumbler this will be the one. Price for performance, this is a great deal.

I reload for a living and had other tumblers in the past some lasted 1 week and other 6 months but this Lyman 2500 Pro tumbler has got to be the best for the money we have used. The Dillon is the only other small tumbler that can hold up to the amount of brass we clean. I have 4 of Lyman 2500 Pro tumblers now all bought from Midway USA and have run over 200,000 rounds of brass through 3 of them and over 500,000 through the oldest one AWESOME PRODUCT Just to let everyone know I use a concrete mixer to tumble brass before the brass goes into the smaller tumblers we buy brass in 55 gal drums

having used this product for a year and a half, i can attest that it is well made indeed. it runs quietly enough (it is louder w/ lyman walnut than w/ corncob though)and doesnt have any problems w/ overheating (i run mine for 6+ hrs on end). If loaded with the proper amount of media (i believe 6 or 7 lbs) it will not walk; it'll just vibrate right where it is placed. while it may cost more than comparable products, this tumbler has a massive capacity, and most importantly, is made here in the USA.

I shoot a lot of 38 super for IPSC competition and this tumbler is one of the better designed ones that I have used. I had Hornady prior to this but had to use a sifter to separate cases from media. With the Lyman Auto-flo, this is not needed. Just pull the plug and allow the media to empty itself into a pan leaving the cases behind. This is much better than transfering to sifter. THe cleaning action is very good and you've got shiny brass in 1 hour tumbling. The Lyman is the best design and I suggest you get one or the Autoflo Kit if it fits your tumbler.

Best and largest you can get for relatively cheap. It will do the job for a long time. I would give it 5 stars if the bowl and lid were of thicker material. Especially the lid, slightly on the flimsy side and caves downward with even a minimal amount of torque on the hold-down nut. Still, best for the money and motors on all Lyman series have reasonable mtbf (mean time before failure).

Just bought this tumbler and it is great-cleaned 3000 rounds already-quiet and fast-used a Midway tumbler for years and it is still going strong-decided to get a larger one for the big rifle brass-no regrets.

I used this product very lightly over the course of 3 years. Less than 5K rounds total. Motor became very weak, wouldn't tumble. I disassembled the motor, and found that the rubber bushing that holds the sealed ball bearing in place had walked out, and was rubbing against the stator. Reassembled it and capped it with silicone, but I had to destroy part of the base to do this. The base is built as a throwaway part, and I prefer things that are made to be fixed when they break.

Just unpacked the 2500 pro magnum tumbler and noticed it did not have an on/off switch. Unplugging an electrical device under load causes sparks - not a good thing. Called Lyman and they told me it was a cost measure-just makes me wonder what other parts they went cheap on.

5 Star Review from 1/12/2009: I have used the Lyman Turbo 2500 case tumbler for 9 months and it's a great tumbler. I have been reloading since 1992 and this is the best one so far. I have used it pretty hard at times and have no problems. If I should ever need another tumbler this will be the one. Price for performance, this is a great deal. Most Recent Review 6/29/2009: I wrote a review of this tumbler in January of 2009 and was very impressed with it. Two days ago it started making a strange noise. I removed the bowl and found the base, where the motor mounts, has cracked and piece has broken off. My Midway tumbler that I have had since the 1990's has not had this problem and it has cleaned a lot more brass than the 2500. I contacted Lyman and the guarantee ended at one year. The best they would do was sell me a new base at close to the price of a new tumbler.

The tumbler runs great. Does a good job with brass. Construction isn't so good. The motor broke away from it's mounts and the tumbler was trash. If they redesigned the mounts, then this would be a great unit.

I believe the 110 motor is just not strong enough for this size tumbler. Mine died after 20 hours of use. Unfortunately I did it 4hours at a time over year.....NO Warranty.

My first 2500 lasted about 3 weeks and Midway replaced it no questions asked. The second unit worked about 1.5 years and died. I contacted Lyman and all they would do for me was sell me another base for an additional $55. I was able to remove the motor by cutting and opening in the base. First Lyman's customer service rep told me they couldn't sell me just the motor. Lyman's sales manager finally told me they could sell me a motor for $80 which makes no sense. Why do they want more for a motor then the whole assembly? I have an old Midway 1292 that has never given me a problem. I liked the larger capacity of the 2500 but looks like Lyman has cheapened the unit to the point of it being junk. Their customer service isn't much better.
