Excellent quality. Removable magazine works better and more smoothly than factory. Really heavy-duty..adds the needed stiffness to Rem 700 DM architecture. Excellent upgrade!!!

VERY pleased with quality and fit of the item. Used in conjunction with an H-S Precision stock. Very minor inletting required for mag release lever.

Superb quality and very robust. Required minor inletting into my HS Precision stock (easily done with Dremel tool). Perfect fit for the factory trigger;required lots of fitting with the Dremel to work with a Jewell trigger. I've run into this with Jewell triggers before -- they're a little larger than factory, but well worth the trouble, I think.

Just bought one of these with 2 mags. Trigger guard required slight inletting for a snug fit. Magazine well required a little sanding with 450 grit sandpaper to let the mag go in and out smoothly without any hangups while loaded with 4 rounds. Overall, this is a nice setup for my Rem 700 VTR custom with an HS pro series tactical stock. The mags feed well, the only thing I didn't like was the hour I spent trying to inlet the stock for a perfect fit, otherwise, I'm satisfied. Just be sure to break-in the magazine and the magazine well before letting dirt or grime get in it, or else your magazines will hang up slightly.

Was not a drop in fit to my Rem 700 LTR (factory Rem stock provided by HS Precision). Required some inletting. Gap between mag assembly & the stock in places. - Excellent functioning, though. Turns unreliable rifle to reliable one in terms of cartridge feeding. Able to even feed long round nose 180 Gr factory ammo that would jam before. - - -

I picked one of these up to go on my 260 Remington. They are easy to install and the magazine locks up tight and does not rattle when it has been inserted like the other reviewers have mentioned. It is well made and has stood up well to minor abuse such as dropping the mag. It mag does hold 4 rounds, but they are under enough pressure that it can be difficult to get the first round to feed. With just three rounds in the mag it feeds flawlessly. Something else worth mentioning is that you cannot top feed more rounds into the magazine while it is in the weapon. This isn't a problem but just something to help you be an informed buyer.
