Produced exclusively for Weatherby by Norma Precision. Brass has CNC-machined primer pockets and is made to match-grade specifications. New unprimed brass. This is not loaded ammunition.

Preparation:

  • Due to the manufacturing process and/or shipping, case mouths may not be perfectly round. To insure a round case mouth, cases must be sized (or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through case neck) and deburred/Chamfered prior to loading.

    Notes:
  • A light "staining" may be found on the case neck of new brass. This is due to annealing. Annealing is a process, performed by the manufacturer, which involves rapid heating to a specified temperature followed by rapid cooling. This process imparts cases with the proper hardness to securely hold a bullet as well as gives flexibility to expand and contract upon firing and repeated forming. The "staining" is a residue from this process. This stain may be removed by tumbling before loading.

This is the best brass by far! They just seem to load again and again and again with little trimming required. All of this, at loads that would make lesser cases stick in your action. You will pay a premium but the money is money well spent.

The best. I expected 4-5 reloads. I'm currently loading most of the brass I have for the 8th reload. I load hot, get an occasional stuck casing in my action, but the cases never fail. Yes, I check for splitting, cracking, etc. I had a few Remington cases mixed in with my Weatherby cases - they are all gone now. If you want to save money, buy Weatherby brass. By the way, I also reload Weatherby 378 mag rounds. Don't expect 8 reloads from that caliber.

I purchased two twenty round boxes and was very pleased. Weatherby has by far outperformed all other brands I have used! There were no dents, no defect of any kind. I would recommend Weatherby brass to anyone.

This is by far the best brass I have ever used. I have only had to full size after the 4th firing. This brass requires very little trimming after each firing. I would highly recommend this brass to anyone who hand loads.
