RCBS 502 scale has consistently measured powder throws during the reloading of thousands of rounds, with the transport of the equipment all over the country. It is easy to use and reliable in it’s design.

Outstanding quality and value. Very accurate and easy to use. Heavy base makes it very stable. Far superior to the similarly priced Redding Scales.

I have been using this scale for 6 years and found it to be more accurate than most digital scales! The metal base adds a lot of stability to the scale and doesn't lose its setting even if you shake the scale!

Used one in the desert years ago. Using one again... It works just fine. I measure every load, and so far, have not had any problems. Just make sure that the weights are properly seated before you begin.

This scale has proven to be the best scale I've ever used. It is very accurate - very stable. Would recommend it to the beginning or experienced reloader.

I would buy this model all over again. Definitely a quality product from fit and finish to function. Very accurate and definitely a well priced tool for the average reloader.

Not perfect but an excellent value. A bit touchy to zero given the slick plastic disc adjustable foot. Base is heavy enough to ride through bench operations without losing zero as long as the scale doesn't slide around. No apparent error when placed on surface not perfectly level transverse to beam - used a cross-test level to check. Self-aligning agate bearings give this scale a lot of durability and repeatability for the money. Magnetic damping works better than I thought it would, settles quickly after rapid trickling to get in range. Pointer zero plate not cal'ed off zero but scale seems repeatable enough for the user to mark off tenth grains. Easy to get used to dynamics allowing near perfect zeroing with a trickler but getting lined up with the zero reading can lead to a small error. User has to develop a consistent technique to maximize use of available repeatability. Not sure why anyone would need anything more sophisticated for charging cases. Would definitely buy again.
