Produced from 1851-1872, the Navy is one of the most famous and widely-used cap and ball revolvers ever produced. Features a 7-1/2" octagonal blue steel barrel, brass backstrap, brass trigger guard, brass frame, authentically engraved 6-shot cylinder, fixed sights and two-piece walnut grip.

    This is a truly great value for the price. The revolver is well made, with a crisp well-timed action and very nice trigger pull. The bluing is even, and the brass frame well polished. I bought this one as a gift, now I'll have to get one for myself.

    I just shot my first match using this pistol. GREAT. Very smooth action. I was very much impressed with the quality and accuracy. You could get another brand, but why?

    This is a BEST BUY. Have fired about 500 rounds through it. With proper maintenance, it's just as accurate and dependable as an original Colt.

    Very Good Black Powder Revolver. 24 grains of APP 3F , .451 lead round ball, Wonder Wad, shoots great. Lots of smoke and fun. Looking forward to using it Cowboy Shootin' in the Spring. I also have a '58 Remington replica. But, I like this Colt '51 better.

    This is an excellent revolver in this price range. The overall finish is nice and the blueing is dark and even. The brass has a few flaws in it and the metal work is a little rough around the edges, but it's still a good looking weapon. The wood grip has a surprisingly attractive color and grain to it but the final finish doesn't bring it out very well. The manual states the revolver meeds to be broken in. That's true but mine gets smoother every time I operate it. This revolver came with a very good trigger pull. It doesn't break like a glass rod but it's light and predictable. The sights are easy to see and use. The gun feels very strong and solid and I think it will last for a long time. I am very satified with this B/P revolver. For as little as I paid for it this is a terrific bargain. It's worth every penny. Try one...you will like it. Dave Maphet Lockland Ohio

    It looked like a great deal, and it was nicely made, but it shot very poorly. No matter what combination of caps and nipples I used I could not get it to fire on the first strike more than 50% of the time. Not very accurate at 20 or 30 grains of fffg. I sent it back, and Midway gave me a refund. This unit is made by Pietta. I was not happy with the unit, but I was happy with Midway. Not recommended.
