The RCBS dial caliper is 95% as good as a Starrett or any other good caliper.I have been using one like the one that I ordered for over twenty years for reloading and it has never let me down or wore out with time. Plus being stainless steel, it does not rust. Great product!

This caliper is smooth & accurate. I have verified it measuring catridge overall length with a starrett caliper and it was very close. The price is also right.

Well made product. I compared it with a friends "Starett" and it is accurate also.

I just received my unit today, zeroed and tested it. It seems like a fairly solid unit, though the dial bezel has a small metal burr in it and there are some other rough spots on various metal components. Accuracy-wise it seems fine but I did not have a "benchmark" Starrett to test it against. My only real gripe is that personally, I try not to buy things made in CHINA, especially not precision instruments. I wish I had known that this unit was ahead of time... I might have saved up for one that was made in the US.
