Great fit and finish. Worth every penny as it is strong and well made. Easy installation. I prefer this design better than other one piece mounts because it allows better access for loading due to the cut-out.

This is a solid, heavy duty base that is machined well and has a nice finish. I wish it had one more cross slot at the front of the base for more support - this would let me move the Leupold scope just a tad farther forward.

AWESOME product! This mount is the highest quality as expected! When used in conjunction with Leupold's Mark 4 medium height rings 50mm scopes will easily clear varmint/tactical heavy barrels.

Fit and function are perfect the finish almost looks like anodized aluminum or sharpy marker, should be flat black. Used with=(shorter than leupold Mark 4 rings)=Buris short Xtreme Tactical Rings with rem 700 SA. Scope cleared barrel by 3/8".

Recently purchased one of these bases and was disappointed to find that it was over-buffed with burrs in the rail and was not straight...
