  • Allows a comparative measurement from the major diameter of a bullet to the case head, rather than measuring from the bullet's tip to the case head
  • Comparator is steel and has six holes cut, one for each caliber listed
  • Insert a cartridge into its correct size hole, then measure from the opposite face of the tool to the base of the cartridge. This dimension may be used to adjust seating dies so that the bullets are being seated more uniformly with respect to the bullet's ogive rather than a cartridge's overall length

    This outstanding product makes determining a bullets distance from the rifling a real snap. Once you determine how far from the case head your rifling engagement is, this tool will allow you to use this information on ANY bullet shape.

    Very nice and handy product. Helps take the guess work out of correct seating depths of your bullets. Bullet tips an get dinged up and just aren't reliable for determining OAL of your loaded rounds. I like this PTG because it gives you 6 different calibers in one tool.

    This product works great. I wish there was one for 9.3mm. I had to make one that size myself.
