I just have to say everyone should try this stuff; I almost didn't buy it because of the negative comments on message boards. Well I did buy it and it worked great!!! Round after round, accurate and reliable, one misfire out of about 250 rounds. (One thing you have to know does your gun range allow steel core ammo, most don't)

Great product! Ran over 400 rounds thru my AK an not 1 bad one in the bunch. It's not any dirtier than other economy ammo and I don't reload so I don't care about the steel cases. I'll certainly be buying more Wolf ammo, and not just in 7.62!

Works great out of Ruger Mini 30. Something with a little extra kick. I took a mule deer with this on a late season tag worked great. I like the heavy round more penetration good expansion.

Great ammo for the price. Proved to be more accurate than full metal jacket ammo in both SKS and MAK90. Probably shouldn't use unless you have a chrome lined chamber due to steel cases. Of 60 rounds three failed to fire first try.

This is the best hunting load on the market for the 7.62 x 39...makes my SKS a feasible deer and boar gun. Everyone else only has a 123-gr soft point load at three times the cost. Got a 320-lb wild boar last week with one shot, the pig moved about five feet, fell over, kicked twice, and was finished. Am stocking up on this ammo while it's still cheap!

I shot a large Colorado cow elk with my Krebs AK and this ammo. 125 yds. standing, broadside. I hit her behind the shoulder, the bullet expanded nicely and broke the off shoulder. She did not move more than 2 steps after being hit. This is great hunting ammo to 150 yds. if you do your part. 1911A1

I purchased this “cheap” ammo for my wife to practice with in her new CZ 527 before last year’s deer season. After a getting consistent ½” groups and going through a hundred or so rounds we decided to try them out on deer. She downed an 8 point and two does with clean one shot kills. Ammo preformed above my expectations but I only gave it four stars because during practice we did find one round which did not fire.

1.67" 3-shot groups at 50 yd were attained using a VEPR K. A lot of shooters experienced feeding problems with their AK variants, but the VEPR K chews up Wolf SP just as well as any other FMJ or HP cartridges. If Wolf SP were more consistent, it'd be a great cartridge. Unfortunately, the Wolf inconsistency falls into the 154 gr SP. You can shoot 0.5" groups at 50 yd and you can also shoot up to 4" groups at 50 yd. The manufacturing tolerances differ greatly.
