I did quite a bit of testing to see what shot best out of my Marlin 882SSV and these were leaps and bounds the best. I shot a 5 shot group, all shots touching @ 60 yards and a 3 shot group, all shot touching @ 100 yards with them. These are much, much more accurate than the Rem VMAX for me. From now on this is all I will use.

I bought these for Michigan coyote hunting. These shoot great in my Ruger 77/22 mag. Whacked 3 coyotes so far. All have run but dropped within 100 yards or less. Had two exit holes on coyotes less than 90 yards. Past that forget about it. Shot a bobcat with a competitors JSP, very disappointed, cat was never found. Will be sticking to Hornady 30 gr. vmax from now on. Excellent bullet for heavy furred 40 pound winter coyotes.

After trying nearly all 22 mag ammo on the market, I have found that this ammo is the most consistent grouping and flat shooting ammo you can buy for the 22 mag. My new Ruger M77 loves it. Now, Hornady just needs to ramp up to the demand.

Great new round! Producing repeatable 1.5 inch groups from my Ruger Single Six. While I have not taken any game with it yet, the v-max bullet produces around 1650 fps average out of a 6.5 inch barrel (Competition Electronics Chronograph), plenty of power to take small game and varmints.

Ran a few rounds through an Anschutz 22 mag which will keep Winchester 40 grainers w/in a minute and a half. These had the advertised velocity, but shot 4 moa in the Anschutz.
