Needed to place in boiling water to squeeze it on my AR-15 .Worked fine with my handle mounted scope.

I bought this item thinking that it would work with my eotech sight and it raises my sight line too much to use the two together. I would not have bought this item if I had known this. If you prefer to raise the sight with an elevated Rail it would work fine but to use it with a standard rear flip up sight and a standard front sight doesn't work.
