This trap features similar flight quality and performance as a professional grade trap at a fraction of the cost. The throwing arm resets itself after each cycle. Throws all regulation clays and can throw standards up to 70 yards. Mainspring tension can be easily adjusted to vary flight distance. A cocking lever eliminates the need to grab the arm, making resetting easy.

    I am pleased with this product. To use it: you place the clay on the throwing arm. Next you move the racheting lever that is under the throwing arm back and forth 3 to 5 times depending on how far you move the racheting arm. I can cock it with only one or two fingers pushing against the racheting arm. My 11 year old son has no problem cocking it and my eight year old son can cock it but struggles a little. You do not touch the throwing arm when cocking. I wanted a thrower that would be safe for my kids to load which would allow me to shoot and I am happy with the purchase. Prior to purchasing the flightmaster, my 11 year old son was cocking my old thrower where you grab the throwing arm and rotate it 270 degrees. Somehow, it did not latch properly and misfired. The throwing arm hit his hand and he needed 6 stitches. This could happen to anyone if you must cock the thrower by grabbing the arm. It can not happen with the flightmaster.
