Works great! The shell stop for short action stumped me for about 5 minutes but once I put my eye balls on I saw the groves inside and finished it.

Easy to install, and it does increase the capacity from 4 to 7 rds just as advertized. The construction of it is great, there is no thin plastic here it's all thick reinforcred nylon that should last a long time. If you want to have more capacity this is the one to get

Installed on a Rem 700 VTR, 308 without any issues. I load only 6 rounds as the seventh would hang up and the bolt would not catch it for chambering. Got tired of using index finger to push the last round forward enough for the bolt to catch. It is more of a hit on Remington due to the spring design. Midway is awesome.... thanks

This is an excellent product to be used on Remington 700 BDL rifles with floor plates. It works well and looks nice installed. It makes the rifle look like it takes magazines. A 308 rifle will hold a total of 7 rounds. The polymer is very tough and durable. I have installed many of them on the Remington 700 police rifles The only problem I have had with them is that there is a little metal plate in the bottom of the magazine that you slide the flat spring under that holds it down and keeps it from flying away when you open the extended magazine floor plate. It will sometimes break loose from the plastic tabs holding it in. When that happens you will need to use some JB weild to glue it back in, use very little on the plastic tabs and use a mini vise to hold it until it drys. It also helps to bend the spring straight before you slide it under the metal plate. All in all a very good product for a very good price that you will be please with how it looks and functions.

Easy to install and actually made the bullet hit the feed ramp smoother.

Great product, easy to install and it works great. Product is intended to retain the hinged open, dump feature of the original floorplate, but is a little stiff for easy opening/closing. No matter to me, as I typically dont dump ammo from the bottom anyway. In my opinion, it is a little pricey for a single piece of injection molded plastic, but it works. I just wish Arms Tech would develop a 10-rd extension, but that would require a new follower spring. For what it is, I like it, and would recommend this product.

This Mag Xtender works awesome! I have a Remington 700 XCR Tactical LR in .308 and I experienced NO feed problems! If anything, it improved my rifle’s feeding. I use match grade ammunition that has a slightly longer overall cartridge length than standard commercial rounds. These rounds would jam up on the feed ramp BEFORE I installed the Mag Xtender. My XCR now holds 8 total rounds and looks great too! But each rifle is different and what works for me, may not work for everyone.

Works perfectly on my SPS Varmint. There are no problems loading all seven rounds and it feeds perfectly fine. I would prefer if it were made of steel or aluminum, even if it meant an increase in price, but I'm still fairly comfortable with the polymer.

I installed this on my 700 SPS Tactical 308 cal. I feel that the directions were kind of confusing but once I figured out what it was saying it took me about 5-10 minutes to install. (Tip: when removing the pin, using a small nail and hammer works best.) I went from 4 rounds to 7 and there is no problem with any round being fed into the chamber. The only thing I would recommend to check, and this only happened the first time, is make sure this new floorplate is completely hooked in before you start loading rounds. I was putting in the 7th round and it accidently popped open but like I said, it only happened that one time. Besides that, it looks great and I have got a lot of comments and questions from people that have seen it at the range. I have and would recommend this to anyone interested in increasing their mag capacity or just looking for a detachable mag look.

Had no problem to install and it looks great. I loaded 6 rounds of 243 Win with no problem and ejected 6 rounds no problem. Had a little plastic flash on one side. A small file cut it away. A must for every 700 owner.

Installed this on my Rem 700 sps tactical .308 about two weeks ago and it has worked flawlessly. It looks great on my rifle and the construction is solid. So far I have ran 100 rounds through this mag extension and report zero problems. I recommend this product to anyone looking to increase their mag capacity or improve the tactical appearance of their bolt rifle.

I just installed this on my Remington 700 SPS Tactical. It does install easily and looks good but I dont think it is worth the price. It does hold 7 rounds of .308 but there are feeding problems now. Either the first round or last round in the magazine does not get any engagement with the bolt face which causes the rifle not to feed. This can be fixed by tweaking (bending) the magazine spring but it takes a lot of trial and error and you will probably ruin your magazine spring in the process. Luckily, I had an extra magazine spring, installed it and it is working now but I dont think the extra rounds were worth the hassel, considering the high price tag.

I installed this on my brand new Remington xcr 700 tactical and it is in my opinion junk. The installation only took 5 minutes and was very easy but the end result was lousy. It only actually held 1 round more than the factory 4 and caused feeding problems (feeding two bullets at once or none at all).
