I got a new Kahr 9mm auto pistol and used this die set to load for it. Initially, I was skeptical with my set due to low price. But after loading a few thousand rounds of nice, accurate ammo on my RCBS turret press and trouble free performance, I am now a true believer of Lee pistol dies. The unit is easy on the budget, easy to set-up and adjust and comes with a free shell holder! I guess I have to say I am truly satisfied with this well made durable product!!

If you load with anything but Lee dies, you're throwing your money away. I speak from experience because I've owned nearly every manufacturer's dies known and I'm here to tell you the Lee's are more simple to use and consistently as accurate as anything costing 5 or six times as much. Don't be fooled; these guys make a top flight product at a very reasonable price. If you want a real rush, try their Collet rifle dies; you won't believe what they will do for your pet rifle with a little careful test loading.

Set it and forget it. As a police officer I go through plenty of ammo. All my buds comment on my ammo. The lee carbide dies are a no brainer. The factory crimp is by far the most useful. When you get the crimp just right you can optimize the start pressure necessary for a uniform and complete powder burn effectively causing almost no muzzle flash. Once you get the powder charge and the crimp just right, its simply amazing. .223 ammo is next.

I have been reloading since 1969 and have used just about everything out there and some that’s not even around any more. When Lee came on the market, a lot of the manufactures were way out of line in price compared to Lee. I still have the others but after the first set of Lee dies, I have used them almost exclusively. They make a good product that does what it says it will and the factory support is nothing short of fantastic. You won't regret using Lee products. Use the extra money for powder etc. 1st class.

Load in a Dillon 550B...screw in from the bottom so they fit. Keep the Dillon powder drop die. I've reloaded untold thousands of 9mm with little or no trouble.

Like all my friends, I bought the Lee 9mm dies with factory crimp dies. I've used them for about 10,000 rounds for regular shooting with my friends. The dies are just great. I've never had a misfire or accuracy problems. Since I was able to adjust loads, I've found my pet load for this cartridge which is really accurate. If you've got a limited budget, the Lee is the best choice. The bonus is that it's as good as any out there.

I bought these for use in my Dillon RL 550B progressive press. They didn't work so well since the mouth of the dies aren't tapered. I had to return them and get some dies made for a progressive reloading press. These seemed to be of good quality otherwise, hence the 4-star rating. If I had a single stage press, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them.

This is the first die set I've ever used as I'm new to reloading. They set up easily and worked great. The only reason they lost a star is because the lock rings are worthless, I've ordered the Lyman lock rings to replace them.

Die sets work very well and are fairly easy to set up and use. Factory Crimp die insures tight crimp. Great price. I use them on a Lee Turret Press. The only problem is that the seating depth may vary requiring frequent checking and die readjustment. The seating die does not seem to hold its setting. This can slow down production.

Overall, this is a great set of dies. The one problem I have had is with the case mouth expander die. 1/8 of a turn on the adjustment takes it from no flare at all to something resembling a funnel. Since I am loading cast bullets, I need a little flare to avoid damaging the bullets going in. The factory crimp die does a fine job of putting the neck back where it belongs, but I'd like a little more control over the degree of flare. If not for that, 5 stars it would be.
