This product is by far the best tumbling media ever! The red dust is an easy fix, just add brass polish the first few times you tumble. Then just use some rubbing alcohol after that and all the residue sticks to the media.

Everyone at the range asks how I get my brass so shiny. I am cleaning mostly pistol brass with carbide dies. I have not had any problems with build up in the dies. There is a residue left on the brass but it seems to help with the sizing.

I've used a variety of media over the last 25 years, but this does the best job of any. Some people don't care for the red dust, but it doesn't stain and it cleans the brass very bright, very quickly.

This product works well unless you object to the red dust it leaves on everything. With most rifle bullets I clean the cases in the vibrator before resizing to extend the life of the dies. The red dust must be removed before the cases are lubed. If it is not, the red dust turns into a red paste that clogs the dies.

While this product will clean brass fairly well it is terrible for sticking in flash holes. I used bird bedding crushed walnut and it seldom sticks in the flash hole. It takes some polish additive to get a good polish on the cases using this but it is better by a long shot. Cleaning flash holes is no fun and a plugged hole can cause a squib or dud round.
