The UPLULA is the best aid to loading pistol magazines! I just received mine and my fingers are so happy to not be in pain from loading numerous high cap magazines. This loader also is a time saver as magazines can be loaded in record time affording more time to fire the rounds off.

Just tried this on several types of mags, including my CZ 82. Worked great on all from 45 ACP to 9X18. Both single and double stack. Today was the first time I could put 12 rounds in those CZ 82 mags without hurting my 67 year old fingers. Will get a second one on my next order.

Excellent product. Without the UPLULA, loading the last 2 or 3 rounds into Glock 10MM 15 round magazines was literally a pain in the thumb, if it could be done at all. The last 2 or 3 rounds loaded always wanted to slip off of the top round due to excessive magazine spring pressure. With the UPLULA it is a breeze. Even able to load 20 rounds with the 5 round Arredondo extension without breaking a sweat.

Simply amazing product! Worked on all magazines we threw at it. I really enjoy range time now - fingers only used to pull the trigger. There is one huge problem though. EVERYONE wants to borrow it at the range. I made everyone get their own - ordered 3 so they leave mine alone plus a spare in case it sprouts legs and runs away. Just bought the one for the AK - hoping that one works just as great as this one does. This has to be the best accessory I have ever bought. You don't have to believe me. Just read the other reviews here - that is what made me get it.

I purchased a loader before Christmas. I've used in on two 9mm pistols, two 40cal S&W pistols, and a 45 ACP Ruger. It WORKS like a charm. It speeds up your reloading a mag a lot. It is a vast improvement over the other loaders I've bought or used. Great product and a good Midway price.

If you do not use a UPLULA your fingers are either callused or very sore. I have had mine for several months now. Works great in both my double stack Glock Magazines and also in my 1911 single stack magazines. The people that I show it to and try it, usually buy one. Only bad thing, you will be shooting more rounds during your range time, so Ammo up and enjoy. I feel it is worth every penny.

This thing is the real deal. It is normally spring loaded in the open position. To load, use either hand and place the loader on your mag, squeeze it closed and then push it down on your mag. As you squeeze it closed a load ramp enters the mag and when you push the loader down the load ramp makes an opening for a cartridge. Slide the cartridge into the opening and push it ALL THE WAY IN. Then simply release your squeeze while letting the mag spring raise the unit. When you release the squeeze the load ramp comes out from under the cartridge you just loaded. Then repeat the process. Very simple to use. Loading speed is limited only by your ability to grab another round. Construction looks good; it should last forever. Excellent product.

This is THE perfect pistol magazine loader. Even though the manufactured says it loads 9mm - .45, I’ve successfully used it on a Kel-Tec .380, a Taurus and Glock 9mm, a Glock and Springfield .40, and a Dan Wesson and Kimber .45. This one speed loader replaces four or five HKS loaders so in the long run saves you a lot of money. Notice there are only 5 star ratings for the Up LULA. It’s no wonder; it works better than any other speed loader made and is worth every penny. Stop looking for a reloader and by the Up LULA.

Great product that works as advertised! However, and I'm suprised no one else here has mentioned it, the steel loading "beak" does scratch the heck out of the shell casings! The "beak" should have been made out of polymer. Because of this I'll only use it to load range ammo...I'll hand load my carry ammo! That makes it lose at least a half point, 4 1/2 stars!!!

Uplula is great. I load my 10-M&P 9mm mags at the range with lightening speed. Other shooters want to know where I got this thing. I go to the range to shoot not practice loading. Very simple to use. Scratches? I reload range brass so that doesn't bother me. first thing I DID notice was once I got the hang of it, I loaded up a dozen SIG 226 mags, then started in on Beretta 9mm and some CZ mags and I'd wished I bought this thing a year ago. It works like it says it does, faster than the video and if you shoot any double stack mags, you need one. Put it on your Christmas list.

This device is AWESOME! I have problems for strength and motor control in my hands, making it difficult to load magazines. Not with this beauty. I could fill a 10 round Hi-Point carbine magazine (9mm single stack) in 30 seconds within minutes of taking it out of the package. A few minutes later, I was topping off Ruger P-95 15 rounders that I have trouble filling past 10 with the stock Ruger loader. I showed it to a friend who doesn't believe in magazine loaders and normally does it all by hand. But after trying it on his 45 ACP Glock, and several other magazines, he now wants one. I want another one!

Must be something I don't understand here...I'm unsuccessfully trying to load G38 (.45GAP) mags. After I put the round in, case-first, per the directions, I try to simultaneously raise the Uplula and open the press (step 5). But the mag spring pressure clamps the beak so that I have to hold the mag down with my other hand to get the press to release and get ready to load another round. This happens with every round...my Glock mag loader is faster and easier than this! Help!

I posted a previous review that said I couldn't get the UPLULA to function properly with .45GAP mags. After emailing Guy Tal at Maglula, I learned that the high front wall of the GAP magazine locks the beak in under pressure. This problem, along with some other mags that don't load properly, is discussed on the UPLULA page of the Maglula web site. I've loaded several other caliber mags with this same UPLULA and it works fine.

This is far and away the best magazine loader I have ever used. It took about three minutes to get used to the sequence of operations. From then on, it is a pleasure to load magazines. Since the top cartridge does not apply upward force on the magazine lips, the life expectancy of the magazine is greatly extended. This is a winner!

I just got my UpLULA in today and tried it out on some mags. It worked flawless on my Wilson Combat mags, ACT 1911 mags, Browning HP and HK USP 45 mags. I loaded 10mm Glock magazines, 9mm Glock magazines and the tiny single stack 6 round Kahr magazines and it worked very well, The operation is a bit different. Most mag loaders push down on the back of the top round in the magazine to make room for the round that's being loaded. The new round is started but then runs into the tab that's depressing the round below it, so the new round is only half loaded. The typical mag loader is then raised and the started round is then pushed all the way back against the friction caused by the round riding on the underside of the magazine feed lips. The Maglula has a flat finger that pushes in and down to depress the top round in the magazine, resulting in a shelf where the next round drops in all the way, without friction. The finger then pulls out the front and raises up above the newly loaded round. Mag loading is faster than traditional mag loaders. The universal aspect is clever. The mag is essentially wedged in a V-shaped notch to center it under the loader. I was surprised it worked on the tiny single stack magazine, and that feature alone makes this worth buying. The single stack mag was a little tricky. The Maglula has enough subtle complexity to have a little bit of a learning curve, but even the initial use was better than loading manually. On more common magazines such as the Glock double stack mags, the learning curve was almost nonexistent. The Maglula is faster and easier than the inexpensive Glock mag loaders or the HKS lever activated mag loader. The design of the Maglula doesn't seem to have any leverage, but it seemed to require less force than the HKS lever actuated mag loader, probably because the Maglula is so ergonamic, and it presses straight down on the rounds instead of pushing down on only the back of the rounds like most other mag loaders.
The Maglula design and overall quality are excellent. It'd be worth the price if it was specific to one magazine, but the ability to load almost all pistol magazines makes this a best buy. It's particularly handy for loading high capacity magazines like the Glock 33 round 9mm mags. Several of us tried the Maglula and the only magazine that it wouldn't load was a Sten high capacity 9mm magazine, which was a bit of an oddball. It was a bit too fat to fit in the mag loader. But it worked well with all common pistol magazines.

5 Stars isn't enough for this amazing and ingenious little device. It makes the tedious chore of loading pistol mags enjoyable. It doesn't matter if they are Glock, SIG, H&K, Ruger or any other make, single stack or double stack, 9mm, 40, 10mm, 45 or whatever, the UpLula handles them all. It takes a learning curve of about 30 seconds to master, and after that loading mags to their capacity is a snap. I wish I had heard of these long ago when I was shooting more. I watched the UPLULA movie clip link provided by Midway, and decided to order. Use isn't that intuitive, but once I got it figured out, I can easily see how they demonstrated a one round per second load rate. I especially like the fact that it removes all pressure/wear on the magazine feed lips while loading, and that length/width of magazine is not an issue for the device. Obviously, saves lots of wear on your thumb. Body is reinforced polymer, loading "beak" and spring is steel. Note warning from Manufacturer that this device "May not load few types of mags, and mags with less than 8.0mm between their lips". Manufacturer also states that this will load some Mags for .380 (or 9mm short). Product is made in Israel, is of very solid construction and can be highly recommended.

This product gets 5 stars from me. Unbelievable, it appears that the same minds that were responsible for the wonderful LULA rifle magazine loader/unloader have created the equivalent for pistol magazines. In the same way as the LULA, this product presses the topmost round down into the magazine so that there is an open space into which the next round can be simply dropped into place. This product has worked on every magazine that I've tried it on, including 380acp, 40sw, 10mm, and 45acp - both single and double stack. As if all of this weren't enough, this loader can be squeezed closed and locked with a little tab for smaller size for storage. Wonderful product. It is easily worth twice what they are asking.

No question this magazine loader is the BEST pistol loader that I've come across. I can't believe that I even bothered with other brands when I could have simply purchased this one and saved myself the headache and thumb pain. I use this for my Glock 22, Glock 34, and Tanfoglio Elite Witness Match pistol (which initially was a pain to load). Glocks are easy to load anyways, but using this makes the process all the more sweeter. As for the Tanfoglio magazines, I purchased high capacity magazines that started to stiffen half way through loading...with this loader, everything is a piece of cake. I would recommend this to anyone!

Before I bought this product I could not fully load my pro mag magazines to the full 20 rounds. Now I can with this loader. It took me 10 minutes to load 20 fighting to get the 16th round in. I'm 24, young, strong, and a big guy. The spring was tough and I cut my hand several times. With this loader no cuts and did it all in about 30 seconds. Everyone should get one!

This thing is slicker than greased grease. I have no problem loading any mag that will fit into the loader and extend below the bottom of it by 1/2 in. That is everything from double stack 45ACP down to tiny Kel-Tec 380 and 32ACP magazines for my 1903 Colt.

I have three of them. I use one to load all my double stack centerfire mags. I have one I moddified for the 1911. I load the ACE .22lr and all my single stack mags of any caliber and one I modified the third for the CZ Kadet, .22lr and any double stack mag smaller than 9mm

The loader that came with my Glock 30 is slow to use, and the plastic shaft that depresses the rounds in the magazine was deforming under the pressure of those brand-new factory mags on the 10th round. Since the springs were just too tight to do load manually, I knew I had to get something, and the UpLULA was a fantastic choice.
Extremely well-built, feels solid in the hand, and works like a charm. Once you get the swing of it, you can load up a standard-capacity magazine in seconds. Works perfectly for my Glock 30 (double-stack .45ACP) mags, a little less solid-feeling on my 1911 (single-stack) mags, but it still works like a champ. Tactile difference only, not functional difference.
I'm glad I got it, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a pistol mag loader.

I have tried many other versions and this one is the best. I have used it on XD mags, FNP mags, S&W single stack mags, and Glock mags. The bar that pushes the round down is metal and holds up to loading the 33 round Glock mags.

I bought this prior to going to Front Sight and not only could load all 5 of my 16 round magazines, I usually had time to help one or two others load theirs when we were in a rush to get loaded at the start of each day. At least 5 people who used mine bought one for themselves during and after the course.

This is by far the BEST loader I have ever used. It worked perfectly on my Springfield P9 (CZ75), and even my cheap HI Point 9mm. This makes loading so much faster and easier I'm going to buy one for my shooting buddy and my brother so they stop hogging mine.

I got my Uplula loader this afternoon as I was leaving for the range. I carry 20 empty 1911-A1 single stack and 15 Hi-Cap Para magazines with me and load them all before I start shooting. This has always been a necessary chore, but this loader has changed all that! It took me a fraction of the time to load all of the mags and my hands were not fatigued at all when I began shooting the course. This loader is the must have tool in my range bag from now on!

This made a great Christmas present for this old man. I have 16 round mags for my PT101P, it does not use a standard Taurus magazine. I cannot load more than 15 rounds in it yet but without this unit I could get 13 rounds in. It used to hurt to load them, now is not a problem getting the 15th in. The spring I guess is still too new to allow the 16th round or I am just a weak 54 year old man. I have only used it on the mec-gar 15 rounder and a 2 16 round mags that came with the pistol I have not used on anything else but this product is perfect. I can sit down in chair and use my lap to place the mag and load to my heart’s content.

Great Product! I tried the speed loader provided with my Springfield XDM 9mm. Try loading 19 rounds in a new magazine. It was ok but not the greatest. I reviewed the video of the UpLULA Speed Loader, purchased one and WOW what a difference. I just recently visited the range that I am a member of and three out of three shooters had one. Works just as well with my SigSauer P239 magazines. Quality made product.

Wow!!! Loaded 4 double-stack mags in no time. This is more expensive than most loaders, but this one works...and works great. Once you get the hang of it, you can load a 15-round mag in a matter of seconds. Great tool. Buy it, you'll like it.

This item works for various handguns I own and I could not be happier.
Please note that this doesn't work perfect with P7 mags or any mags with small openings on top.
However, it works for all the popular firearms. It is a quality item and I wouldn't know what to do without one.

This is a great product. If you are considering getting this...stop...just buy it. I received mine last week and have loaded about 30 Glock 9mm 15-round magazines so far. Amazingly quick and easy. Only downside may be the price. But it is a quality product.

Great product. I can load every magazine I own in 1/3 of the normal time. Only mag that it has even the slightest problem with is the cobra .380, though I rarely use it for that since I can load those 5 rounds rather easily on my own. Would recommend this to anyone.

I've been using this for over a year on all my pistol mags larger than .22LR. Terrific product! Works perfectly for my 3 different 9mm pistols as well as the mags for my Beretta CX4 Storm (.40 S&W). One of my pistols (Ruger P89) came with its own loader but the Uplula works better. It also works better than another loader I had previously bought that was supposed to work with most mags (it didn't).
When I first got it, I was a but puzzled at first and fumbled around with it a bit... then once I realized the trick to using it, it worked beautifully.

This is a great product. It takes a little while to learn and I also have found out that the "backward orientation" works best for me also. Uplula in left hand, feed with right for a right handed person.

Forgot to mention... Contrary to their instructions, I opt to orient it "backwards" so that the bullet is aimed AWAY from me when loading the clip. I think it's easier as well as safer. Try it. This seems like common sense to me but what do i know...

If you load high capacity mags, this is for you. This loader will even load 33 rounds into the Korean Khan Glock mags, which is impossible by hand (I can get to 23 rounds, no more, by hand). I can't imagine a better way to load pistol mags, other than having YOU do it for me.

Saw this on youtube and thought I would give it a try. Give the inventor a cookie. The Uplula is self centering, so you can load single stack or double stack magazines. I can load a 12 round magazine in 10 seconds. This is a must have when loading high capacity magazines. I never go to the range without it.

Just adding my 5 star to the group! I recently purchased a Beretta Px4 Storm and agree with everyone else that it's hard to load that 17rd mag. Not with the UPLULA, though! Loading the mag is now a joy, takes only a few seconds to pop all 17 into place. If you own a large cap magazine, you'd better get one of these! BTW, tried the cheap route first with a lesser product and immediately passed it on to my children for their mags that aren't as fat as my double stacked Beretta.

Like everyone else says, it's a great, useful, and efficient product. Loads all my 380, 9mm, 40S&W, and 45ACP mags quickly and without fatigue. An excellent loader. One other person noted the one flaw in this unit. That is it scratches the brass pretty badly, especially on double stack mags where the rounds slide from side to side during loading. If your picky like me and don't like that then here's the fix. Get some 800 wet/dry sandpaper and polish the beak! Took me all of 5 minutes and no more scratched brass. This is a mass produced item so they can't afford to spend the time to do this in the factory. And another benefit is it make the action even smoother and faster by reducing friction on the beak and round. This thing almost makes loading mags fun.

I bought the Maglula UPLULA Universal Pistol Magazine Loader after reading all the positive reviews and boy they weren't kidding! This thing is great! I was pretty slow using it to load a 9mm magazine the first time out (had to get used to how to use it) but by the second magazine, I had it down pat and loading the magazine was a breeze!
My thumbs used to hurt from loading my two 10-round magazines for my Sig Sauer P226. With this loader, no more sore thumbs. Think I'll order a couple of 15 round magazines from Midway today! :)

Fantastic product. Using it with new magazines for my Beretta PX4 .45. Magazine springs are ridiculously strong at the moment, I had trouble getting the last 3 or 4 in each mag when I went shooting this past weekend. I've been playing with the UpLULA for about 5 minutes and I have loading time per magazine down to less than 40 seconds are so. I absolutely recommend this product.
