I have two! The best scopes for the money! I have no clue why people say its bad at 13 - 20 power I have had clear results. I guess some people like name brand and feel they need a high price scope to shoot right.

YES! its a cheaply priced scope. YES! its does not have a lot of special features. BUT! as for quality and price, this one is excellent. You CAN adjust the focus AND the scope is useful when done so (meaning you can see clear as 20/20 even at 24 power) and as for eye relief! Anybody should be able to find the "sweet spot" and maintain the position. SO for a good quality scope, at a very very low price, this one cant be beat!

I am impressed with Barska scopes, love the adj knobs and it is clear as a bell, I have seen scopes that cost $600.00 to $700.00 that hold nothing on this scope, great buy unless you are a brand name or price tag shopper.

We have two of these and they serve us well. We have one on an AR15 and another on a 223 HandiRifle.

I use this on .223 varmint rifle and am generally satisfied with it. Having said that, the low price usually means compromise on features and quality, and this one is no different. The good- 1/8 MOA adjustments with covered finger adjustable target turrets, very fine cross hair with center dot that doesn't cover up small targets at distance, solid repeatable positive click adjustments for windage and elevation. Clear and bright glass at low and medium power settings. The bad - At high power settings, particularly over 15x or 16x, the view becomes distorted and has glare, and gets worse with every power setting up to 20x. Short optimum eye relief area which could be an issue for mounting. The bottom line is this a is a pretty decent variable useable to 16x scope with adjustable objective considering the cost, if you can live with the obvious flaws with it.

This scope is much better quality then you would expect for the price. It is built well and does not lose zero when shooting a max load.

Awesome scope! Bought it for my Vanguard in 300 Weatherby magnum and it held up no problem! Hasn't lost zero and optical quality is excellent for the price! I was shooting a max load with a 200 grain projectile... AO is great... even assists in range estimation (when the target is clear, read the range on the AO). Would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Ok, I knew I was buying a cheap scope. It is what it is. Not bad for the price. It grows dim and cloudy quickly starting around 12 power, and at 20 is not very useful. The eye relief is also touchy as all get out. Aside from that I have no issues yet. Understand that I have not shot the rifle since mounting the scope. It took super high Leupold rings to fit my Savage 112 and those had to be ordered. Watch out for that. I will go to the range tomorrow, but I expect it will work well.

I must say that the scope is much clearer and brighter than I would have thought for the price. It holds it zero very well and the adjustments are sure and track very well. There are only two issues with it, one, it does start to get dark at above 18x and I wish there was a way to put a sunshade on it. Other than that it is well worth the money.

I don't shop by name brand or price. For example the 4-12X50 Swift @ $250-&300 is a much better scope than anything made by Zeiss or Leupold. This Barska is the worst scope I own, & will never get another one. Not even for Free! Just a waist of my time.

I Bought two of these scopes. One for my Savage .22lr and the other for my Marlin 25mn .22 magnum. Neither scope would zero. Went back to using my Simmons scopes which zeroed perfectly.
