One of the most handy and unique hand-held case trimmers on the market today. The Kwick Case Trimmer indexes from the datum of the cartridge case shoulder eliminating the need for additional shellholders or pilots and can be used as a hand trimmer or powered trimmer with the use of the optional power adapter (product # 295-771, sold separately) which allows the reloader to use the trimmer with an electric drill.

Excellent unit, especially for large amounts of brass. As stated, this trims based on the shoulder datum, not overall length, and must be used after FL sizing. You can have some variance in overall cartridge length if your FL die does not bump the shoulder back to the correct dimension. I cannot recommend enough to get the power adapter. Used in a variable speed drill that you can lock the speed, it makes quick work of processing your brass. After trimming, remove the trimmer from the power adapter and insert a L.E. Wilson Chamfer / Deburring tool and with very light pressure finish processing your brass.

This is by far the best money I have ever spent on reloading, biggest time saver. This is simple to use and set, make sure you get the power adapter too. I even ended up buying a bench top drill press just so I wouldn’t have to stand out in the shed to use this. Awesome tool, would of rating 6 stars if possible

For the money you can't beat this product, I had a bunch of primed brass that I had to put through my small base die for my AR-15, "just make sure you take out the decapping pin", hooked it up to my cordless drill and went to work, it took less time using this than the Lee zip trim, I knocked out around 300 cases in an hour, now I am getting one for .308.

Needed a cost effective solution to trim a whole bunch of .223 brass. Was not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. It trims quickly with the power adaptor. Clogs up quickly with cut brass, but just remember to tap it out every third case or so. Works slick, highly recommend!

If you have lots of brass to trim and you're tired of a lathe type trimmer, look no further. This little tool is awesome, but you have to get the adaptor to use in a drill, which is the only way to go.

For the money, this is the fastest and easiest case trimmer I have used. You should use a power adapter since turning it by hand causes chatter marks. When turned in a drill press, trimming cases is like sharpening a pencil, no case holder needed.

Again, the positive Midway reviews were instrumental in the purchase of this case trimmer plus the power drill adaptor. Just a matter of setting the trimmer to the case length desired and hundreds of sized cases can be done in 30 minutes or less. One minor issue - since being attached to a power tool, there is a slight burr mark left by the drill rotation in the middle of the case. Use the Possum Hollow tool combination to process bulk plinking range brass with .55 gr. FMJBT in quantity with great ease. Then use the RCBS Case Trimmer for my Hornady .55 gr. V-max precision loads which I want to "look perfect".

Great product. Big time saver. Takes a little getting used to and finding the best setup to use it but once you get it dialed in you can rock it.

The Possum Hollow trimmer works great! I chucked the trimmer in a ShopSmith and ran it at about 2000 rpm. My trial run was 1000 .223 cases which took about 2 hours. Then, I chucked a deburring tool in the holder & deburred the inside of the 1000 cases in an hour. I reversed the deburring tool for the outside. With the deburring tool chucked for outside deburring, I was now looking at the three horns turning at 2000 rpm. I'd bumped the trimmer & inside deburring tool several times with my fingers without any problem since everything was symmetric and "smooth". Looking at the horn turning at 2000 rpm, I was very reticent about putting my fingers so close to them. Any contact was going to hurt. I got some .5" ID x .75" OD clear plastic tubing, soaked it in very hot water to soften it and slipped about 1.5" over the horns on the deburring tool, letting about .3" extend beyond the horns. That made an effective shield that kind of "funnels" or centers the case . You can easily see through the tubing plus it keeps fingers away from the horns. I was able to remove the tubing with little effort when I was done. I've used the "lathe" type trimmers, the Lee trimmer system; the Forster 3-way case trimmer head in addition to the Possum Hollow. The PH does an equal job with a small fraction of the time & effort so I can recommend it!

This thing is the Best thing since Sliced Bread for me. Note if you are making Precision Match Ammo for Long range target shooting. This is not the tool for you. I found the accuracy to be 0.003 plus or minus. It will get you in the ball park for plinking loads. A word of advice If you buy this buy the drill adapter. My only Gripe is the Set screw, After adjusting it a couple of times it got stripped out. If your making 30 rounds use a Lathe type trimmer. If your making 400 rounds for a good time at the range. This is your tool!

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE PIECE OF JUNK!!!! I am extremely disappointed with this product. The set screw used to hold the cutter in place will not do that. I tried adjusting the cutter for over an hour with my calipers and could never get the cutter to maintain a consistent length. I have been reloading for over 30 years and have always trimmed by hand, but it got very tedious when I loaded high volume .223 so I decided to try the Possum Hollow trimmer with the power adapter. Not only will it not cut consistently, brass was getting stuck and I had to use pliers to pull it out of the trimmer. I will spend the extra $400 to get a Giraud power trimmer which I have used. The Giraud also chamfers inside and out with each pass. Save your money and DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I was very disappointed in the consistency of this product. It never trimmed any two pieces to the same length. Occasionally the brass chips built up on the case shoulders and that left a very long case length. It was a big hassle and I had to measure each piece as I trimmed them in order to keep working some of the brass to try to get it even partially close in length to the others. I finally had to stop using it and went back to my old Lyman case trimmer to get accurate results for top quality reloads. Do not waste your money.
