Trimmer is well made just like Forsters other products. Good price for a manual .50 BMG case trimmer. Okay for small runs but I would recommend a power case trimmer if you have alot of .50 BMG brass to trim. Also, the included pilot needs to be turned down slightly or a smaller pilot ordered from Forster. Still a good value!

Over all worth the money. Easy to set up and adjust. Most of the collets fit more than one cartridge. I had to machine out the collet holder to accept a .338 Lapua Mag cartridge.

I now regret purchasing this product. Forster offers no primer pocket reamer to remove the military crimp with this tool. I need a tool that will true out the primer pocket when removing the crimp. Hand operated primer pocket uniforming tools almost always give you something less than a straight cut pocket. Looks like I have to sell this one and purchase a Wilson to get the tool I need.

This product does not work correctly for me, after trimming 50 shells the part that clamps down on the base of the shell is too soft of a metal and when you clamp down on the shell the shell pops out of the holder. I informed Forster and they said that they are going to heat treat the parts, this is the second time I have had this problem. It is poorly designed. I also told Forster that you need a 360 degree clamping system on the base of the shell.
