Federal engineers spent years developing this "blueprint round," which delivered superb accuracy, enabling the USA Olympic Team to bring home Gold medals from Barcelona in the 1992 Summer Olympic Games. The solid bullet makes this round great for training and pest hunting. This ammunition is new production and non-corrosive.

    This is the only .22 ammunition I use. It is very accurate and consistent. I have a custom Ruger 10-22 that shoots 3/4 inch groups at 75 yds, and a colt .22 pistol that shoots 1/2 inch groups at 25 yds.

    I give this ammo a five star rating because of it's accuracy vs value. This is as consistantly accurate as ammunition costing much more and it burns clean. My Ruger 10/22, MKII, and MKIII really like this stuff.

    After shooting more than a half dozen different 22 ammos through my pistol, I found the Federal Premium to be head and shoulders above any of the other brands and grades. Now, with this quantity I have enough box to box consistancy to figure out how good I am. Great product.

    I use Federal gold medal .22 rimfire ammo for indoor four position competition during the winter. It works very well in my Winchester 52D. I prefer the Federal Gold Medal ammo because the smoke does not bother me the way the imported .22 rimfire ammo does and it is an American product.

    I purchased a new Browning Buck Mark UDX and fired it using four different types of .22 ammo; twenty rounds each at 5, 10 and 25 yards. The Federal Premium Gold Medal stood out above the others. The tight shot groups really surprised me. I will stay with this brand in the future.

    I have fired a Browning BL-22 (lever action) and a CZ 452 Lux bolt action. I still get the same results which a great. I think I will stay with this ammo. No smoke and dead and I mean DEAD accurate. It got even better results when I mounted a Leupold VX1 scope. All within a dime. Try some!

    An EXCELLENT performer. Accurate. Clean burning. Reliable. Zero dud rounds. Very few unexplained flyers. It performs well in ALL of my match rifles. I like it.

    The 719 is 1200 fps (high velocity) "practice grade" target ammunition. My Kimber prefers 1200 fps over the standard 1080 fps target ammo. I prefer the .22 high speed ammo for silhouette competition. This ammo is slightly better in my Kimber to the CCI Select brand. Both are adequate for club silhouette competitions.

    I have been using this in my 10/22's because it shoots accurately and functions flawlessly. I was using Wolf Match for all my other guns but it keeps climbing in price so I am considering using this ammo for all the others. Value for price is great for this ammo. Buy it.

    I tried this ammo even though I did not have high hopes for it after reading the reviews. Each gun is different, so why not. In my CZ452 it averaged .54" for ten five shot groups at 50 yards. American Eagle HPs went .58". Go figure.
