    I give it a low rating not for lack of quality, but for uselessness. It is just a quick release, leaving the mount in place but removing the 3x. It rotates 90 degrees so the 3x is sticking out to the right with one end half blocking the Aimpoint view, no height change, waiting for ejected brass to hit it or at least come close. You can't shoot with it hanging out to the side because it is loose and ready for you to lift off. Since the 3x has no built-in dust covers, you don't want to just drop it in your pocket or bag. I really see no use for this. Get the Samson Flip Mount instead, which does flip it out of the way by slapping a tab, left or right at your choice by changing a couple of mounting screws.
