Belt Mountain Ruger Base Pins are hardened, centerless ground to .2495" diameter and handsomely finished. Installation instructions are included, and on most guns these pins drop right in so no alteration of the gun is necessary.

Notes:

  • .2495" in diameter
  • The head flange is slightly larger than standard and has a relief cut for clearance of the barrel. This flange prevents the rotation of the pin in the frame, a cause of frame wear in Colt sixguns.
  • The basepin latch notch is cut only where it needs to be, resulting in much more metal to metal contact with the latch. These pins stay put!
  • Hex head set screw locks the pin in place to avoid throwing the pin.

    Drops right in, no fitting necessary. Really goes well with the R&D Ruger cylinder conversion that is also available from Midway. If you have the R&D cylinder, I recommend you get one of these to go along with it.
