Love these magazines! Tried these, Kimber, and generic magazines in a Colt 1911 clone AND an old Llama 1911 and these worked better than any of the others. The extra cartridge capacity really does make a difference.

Though these are made for 38 Super they are the only magazines that have consistently worked in my 9mm 1911. Other 9mm mags have either not locked open or had feed issues. I recommend these Shooting Star mags.

The only reason I rate at two stars is that so far I have not experienced any feeding problems, I agree that the follower is a joke compared to the earlier round top style and the springs are not near as strong as the ones on my earlier CM mags. This is the first time I have ever experienced this with CM mags, guess that I will have to start saving up the cost of a whole new gun to purchase enough Wilsons to have plenty for IPSC competitions.

I would stay away from this product. Both loading and feeding has been problematic for me with both SWC and hardball bullets. The follower nose often gets caught in its travels and binds & the spring does not stay straight causing the above problems, used with less than 4 rounds works fine, but then what is the sense of having capacity > 4 rounds. Would not recommend.

Unsatisfactory - wouldn't load, too narrow between guide indents, spring "propeller twisted & burrs on body, the follower is a joke. Quality control lacking. Should have returned but thought I could fix - poor decision.
