When Bartlett Enterprises, a key manufacturer in the firearm and aerospace industries since 1979, began work on their lower receivers, they envisioned a product free of the defects found on many other AR-15 lower receivers, including poor uniformity and loose manufacturing tolerances. To solve these problems, they start with a clean slate: a solid billet of 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum. Using state-of-the-art CNC equipment, they precisely machine each one to exact specifications including: 0.154" trigger and hammer pin holes and 0.250" pivot and takedown pin holes. When compared side by side with other AR-15s, the difference is visible with the naked eye, let alone with a caliper. Other improvements were made as well: the magazine well is internally flared at the opening with a unique compound bevel for rapid, reliable magazine changes. Each lower is given a mil-spec A8625 Type-III, Class 2 anodized finish with a nickel acetate seal, creating a durable and great looking receiver.
