My daughter has several seasons on hers

My daughter, 5' 4", used hers for several seasons and likes it a lot. Shares it with other hiker, 5' 11" and the adjustment range covers both. I tried hers, and found it fit me and was easy to adjust. Midway had them at a great price, so now I have my own.

What Customers Are Saying

Good pack, holds a lot, quiet, comfortable.

I finally got a good backpack! After lugging around cheap surplus store packs, I broke down and spent some money. This is a very quiet pack, very comfortable. I tried it on at a local shop, it fit well. I also tried a different brand, MR, on the same day. The Badlands was way more comfortable. the only downside so far is that with the surplus store packs I got really used to using those Molle attachments. I wish this pack had a few of them. When hiking in and getting hot, I had a carabiner on the side I could just clip my hat off to. Also I feel that it could use a few more pockets to store various gear in. Ilik dedicated pockets for first aide, toilet paper, ect.

About Badlands

Twenty years of tinkering, testing and, frankly, a little mad science, has shaped us into the kind of brand we’ve always admired. A brand where “unconditional” isn’t just a word – it’s a cornerstone of our business, in how we guarantee our hunting packs and camo gear. Badlands is a place where a simple hunting story can spawn an entire new product line, or a phone call with a customer can lead us in a direction we never imagined. It’s a place where nobody has to ask, “Where’s Steve?” because everyone knows he’s out in the mountains of our backyard, doing product research by throwing a pack down the hill or trekking through the thickest brush he can find. It’s a place of vision, of organized chaos and an unconditional desire to make the best hunting gear on the planet. It’s a place we built for you. At Badlands, we remain focused on four components to making the best hunting products in the world: Performance, Quality, Comfort & Warranty.

About Sitka Gear

Founded in 2005, SITKA® Gear was an idea spawned by necessity. After 3000 vertical feet in the dark, with intermittent snow flurries and driving sleet, the morning climb ended behind a gnarled White Bark Pine to get some reprieve from the elements. Cold and wet with sweat from that climb, it was more than obvious that discomfort like this was unnecessary. So, on that September morning, at timberline, surrounded by bugling bulls, the vision that became Sitka was realized. Drawing on strong backgrounds in the climbing, mountaineering, and general head strong assaults of the backcountry, expertise and experience were focused on bridging the gaps that existed between these endeavors. Sitka's driving goal is to not only bridge the technology gaps that existed from a fabric, construction, and product form perspective, but to fully immerse ourselves in driving new technologies and solutions for the modern outdoorsman. Our roots are in the mountains, but our solutions range wide.

Eberlestock M5 Team Elk Backpack

The Eberlestock Team Elk pack has a unique set of best-in-class features, including fold-away rifle scabbard, built-in bow carrier, Intex tubular aluminum frame, grapple-compression straps, waist-belt rangefinder pockets, and more! At 3100 cubic inches (50 liters), the Team Elk pack hits the sweet spot in hunting pack size. It serves well as a day pack but can serve for shorter multi-day trips, and is a great game hauler. Has both front-loading and top-loading access.

Eberlestock added zip-and-flip covers to the scabbard and bow carrier, so that when not carrying a gun or bow, these serve as additional pockets.  Dual full-depth spotting scope and hydration pockets run top-to-bottom on both sides of the pack.

With its body-following contours and a bottom-shelf design, the Intex frame provides excellent comfort and stability. It's a perfect combination of lightweight comfort and bomber-toughness... made to be quiet and comfortable for all-day hunting and rugged (but still comfortable) for end-of-day game hauling.

Part of the proceeds from the sale of each pack are donated to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, so join Team Elk and help us to further the cause of one of the greatest hunting-oriented conservation groups on earth!

Features

  • Rifle/bow carrier
  • All-day hunting comfort
  • Part of the proceeds benefit RMEF
