Good for what it's for, some room for improvement

Why I bought it: You can fit two 1-gallon jugs of water plus four 20oz bottles of water in it with room for a 10lb bag of ice on top, so ideal for those who work in the heat and want ice cold water sun up - sun down. It has a smaller footprint than the Roadie 20 and fits perfectly in the passenger seat of my work truck/field office. The added height vs the 20 means you can pull out a jug to drink and not have to dig at the the ice with your hand to fit it back inside and be able to close the lid. Also, taller 1L water bottles fit upright. The TL;DR details: I have used the Roadie 20 (basically the baby of the Tundra line with an annoying stiff handle) for a few years as a work cooler and overnight camping or dayhike trailhead cooler, it will still be used for the latter two purposes, handles a 12pk like a champ, but the Roadie 24 is now my regular jobsite cooler. Compared to the Roadie 20, the 24 is not bear-resistant, the new plasticy-rubbery latch handles are not as secure as the tire rubber tun...

Buy Once, Cry Once!

The family really surprised me this past Father's Day with the navy blue YETI Tundra Haul Wheeled Cooler. They know I don't buy myself "high dollar" items. Taking care of my family's needs and wants take priority over mine. Typically Christmas, Father's Day and my birthday are the times I usually get higher cost gifts. Over the years I have had lower cost coolers that fall apart after a few years of service. Even the lower end wheeled units fail - usually the collapsible handle stops going down all the way. This handle works perfectly for dragging the cooler to equestrian events, camping amd kayaking. And the superior insulation keeps drinks cold even in the hottest Texas summer. Some reviews complain that this cooler does not have a basket - none of the crappy coolers I've had over the years had a basket. Plus, if you seal your dry goods in a ziploc bag, you are good to go. I have bought again and again!

Have purchased twice, one last year for personal use and one this year as gift. I am purchasing again today as another gift. Great small cooler used during 3 week 6000 mile car road trip or for a hot summer's day outdoor activity. Ice really does stay 2 days.
