Look Back on Bow Hunting with a Recurve

Jared Mills • June 05, 2024

In the video above, I'm trying out what initially appears to be a perfect choke point for bow hunting deer on my property. I've set up in a tree only about 8 feet off the ground with my recurve bow in this "pinch of all pinches" -- my only shot being five yards away or less. After the conclusion of the hunt, fast forward to six months later when I revisit the location to discuss what I would do differently the next time with things such as my rattling sequence, the spot I chose, and my timing for hunting this particular deer during the season. I learned a few things on that hunt, so I hope you enjoy watching and learn a thing or two as well!
