Everyone knows about the famous Mauser rifles, but did you know that Mauser also made handguns? I've got a Mauser Model of 1914, semi-automatic pistol, made in Oberndorf, Germany. This gun has an exposed striker that also serves as a cocking indicator, and it doesn't have a grip safety. The barrel is only 3.4 inches long. It has a fixed rear sight and a blade front. The slide locks back on an empty magazine. The magazine holds eight rounds. The slide closes after a magazine is inserted. Mauser made this model from 1914 to 1934, and all were chambered for the 32 ACP pistol cartridge. To see a demonstration of how the gun operates, be sure to check out the video above.
