California Transparency in Supply Chains Act

California Transparency in Supply Chains Act:
MidwayUSA’s Mission is: To be the best-run business in America, and the most successful, most respected business in our industry for the benefit of our Customers. We rely on 9 non-negotiable family principles to guide us in everything we do. We require each of our Suppliers to adhere to these values, Honesty, Integrity, Humility, Respect for Others, Teamwork, Positive Attitude, Accountability, Stewardship and Loyalty. Thus, the requirement for human dignity and fair and ethical treatment of all people is at the core of everything we do. Any knowledge of or involvement in human trafficking, slavery or forced labor, either directly or indirectly (through contractors or sub-contractors), will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disciplinary action up to and including termination of business relations.

Verification: More than 50% of MidwayUSA’s suppliers are based in the United States and do not sell imported products. These Suppliers are held accountable to US laws regarding human trafficking and slavery. As part of our Supplier onboarding process Suppliers are now notified MidwayUSA does not support and will not accept human trafficking, slavery or forced labor in any manner and any Supplier found to be in violation, either directly or indirectly (through contractors, sub-contractors etc.), will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of business relations. While we maintain this requirement of our Suppliers, MidwayUSA does not conduct social audits of our suppliers.

Audit: MidwayUSA’s processes for selecting Suppliers help ensure we select Suppliers who align with our Culture and our Values. We rely on our Suppliers to monitor their activities. MidwayUSA does not conduct social audits of our Suppliers.

Certification: MidwayUSA's strategy for Legal, Ethical and Regulatory Compliance and stated non-negotiable values helps prevent the addition of Suppliers who are not in alignment with our business. MidwayUSA’s Supplier Agreement specifically notifies Suppliers that MidwayUSA does not endorse, support or accept human trafficking, slavery or forced labor in any manner and warns of ramifications for non-compliance. MidwayUSA does not require any official certification that materials incorporated into our products comply with anti-slavery and human trafficking laws in the country or countries in which our Suppliers do business.

Internal Accountability:
MidwayUSA hires individuals and selects Suppliers who share our Culture and align with our non-negotiable values. We lead and manage our business with strategies and processes which ensure Legal, Ethical and Regulatory Compliance. Any Employee or Supplier discovered to have knowledge of forced labor, slavery or human trafficking will face disciplinary action up to and including termination of Employment or business relations.
